established in 1989 to serve the local flat

roofing and road surfacing industries with

quality materials and products sourced from

manufacturers throughout the UK and Europe.

As a local independent merchant our

customer base has grown to a national level

various forms of bitumen solutions and

sealants together with any boiler or cauldron

requirements.

with the added advantage due to our early

opening hours and flexibility we can be on site

at a time that suits you reducing your working

down time waiting for materials. With our

varied delivery vehicles we are able to

accommodate all material orders from single

units to multi-pallets. Our early opening hours

enables orders taken first thing in the

morning to be delivered same day if so

required, together with allowing amendments

NOVAGLASS TORCH-ON MEMBRANES

Velobit APP underlays are used in multi layer built up felt roof systems. The membrane is 2mm thick and has a talc finish on the upper surface. Velobit V2 has a good resistance to high and low temperatures. This product is available from stock in 16m rolls.

Isogum 5kg SBS is available in 8m long rolls and the upper surface is finished in a Grey/Green Slate Mineral finish. This product is ideal for structures that are subjected to high levels of stress such as timber or metal decks and is ideal for use year round due to the high tensile strength of the finished material.

Flexgum P4 SBS is a high performance membrane that can be used in multi layer applications or as a single layer overlay system. The product has a BBA British board of agrement certificate. This product is ideal for structures that are subjected to high levels of stress such as timber or metal decks and is ideal for use year round due to the high tensile strength of the finished material.

NOVAGLASS TORCH-ON MEMBRANES

Novall 3mm is a metal lined vapour barrier particularly for use in buildings where there is a high level of humidity. With excellent dimensional stability this products has good resistance to high and low temperatures. Novall is supplied in 10m long rolls.

Nova-Per Venting Layer is a perforated glass fibre sheet impregnated with distilled bitumen modified with elastomeric resins and elastoplastermeric polymers. This product is used in multi layer waterproof systems where controlled partial installation is required. Nova-Per will eliminate stresses in the subsequent waterproofing layers that are fully adhered and acts as a diffusion layer for the water vapour coming from the inside of the structure. Nova-Per is supplied in 30m long rolls.

Monoter 1.2kg is a rot proof woven polyester base sheet designed to be mechanically fixed to the roof decking using large headed roofing nails to accept subsequent torch-on application layers. Monoter may also be loose laid as a separation layer in roof gardens and roof systems ballasted with gravel or paving stones. Monoter is supplied in 20m long rolls.

ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL are excellent quality prefabricated bituminous membranes, made with ADESO® technology, the new compound layering system from Polyglass SpA.

ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL are made from an elastomeric compound (SBS), reinforced with a stabilised polyester composite material. This reinforcement allows the product an excellent

dimensional stability and good working capabilities on-site. ELASTOFLEX SA P is protected by a polyethylene film on its upper side and in the mineral version it has both an innovative patented granule free roll end FASTLap® and SEALLap® a feature which enhances bonding at laps. These patented treatments guarantee excellent membrane

bonding even in the most difficult of situations. ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL have an adhesive underside which is protected by a monosilicone polystyrene film which is to be removed at the

time of application.

ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL membranes are created using NAT® technology, the innovative production technique which controls the polymeric ageing of the bituminous membrane.

Where to apply

ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL are particularly suitable for use on thermal thermoplastic insulation such as; expanded polyurethane, expanded and extruded polystyrene, wooden roofing covers and in all situations where blow torch application of waterproofing membranes is not foreseen. This layer allows an eventual successive application of bituminous waterproofing surfaces with a light propane gas flame as an alternative to a

second self-adhesive layer.

How to apply

Unroll ELASTOFLEX SA P and ELASTOFLEX SA P MINERAL paying attention that the adhesive side is facing down, remove the protective film when applying avoiding the formation of surface air bubbles or creases . Particular attention must be paid to overlapping the membranes. Scissors, rollers and a Stanley knife are

recommended when applying. The product must be applied when the temperature is over 5°C and with the best weather conditions.

Mapeplan TM is a synthetic roofing waterproofing membrane in flexible Polyolefin TPO/FPO produced in one multi-extrusion coating process with high quality raw materials reinforced with polyester net. Mapeplan TM is suitable for exposed roof installations and for mechanical fixing. It is resistant to

ultraviolet rays and may be exposed to all weather conditions.

Mapeplan T AF - Membrane for fully-adhered roofing with membrane adhesive.

Mapeplan T AF is a synthetic roofing waterproofing membrane in flexible Polyolefin TPO/FPO produced in one multi-extrusion coating process with high quality raw materials reinforced with glass mat.

Mapeplan T AF is backed with 300g/m² Fleece for use as a fully adhered system.

Fast Drying Primer 5lt & 25lt

Fast Drying Primer seals porous substrates and encourages the adhesion of bituminous waterproofing systems and sheet coverings. It may be applied successfully to a wide range of surfaces: Metals - mild steel, zinc, lead. Concrete, Asbestos cement, Slate, Lightweight concrete screeds. The application of the primer varies according to the porosity of the surface: Metal surfaces: 6 - 12m² per litre. Concrete: 6 - 8m² per litre. Lightweight concrete screeds and asbestos cement: 3.5 - 5m² per litre.

All Weather Bitumen Roofing Compound 5lt & 25lt

A solvent-based bituminous compound heavily bodied with fillers and fibres, which is suitable for application by brush or spray. Roofcoat may be applied by brush or by spray. The All Weather Roof coating system may be used on the following surfaces- Asphalt roofs, Built-up felt roofs, Concrete roof decks, Asbestos-Cement sheeting, Metal sheeting, including iron, steel, zinc and lead, Slates, tiles. Roofcoat should normally be applied in 2 coats at 1.0 - 1.5m² per litre per

coat, depending upon the porosity of the surface.

Roofing Felt Adhesive & Lap Cement 5lt & 25lt

A solvent based high viscosity bituminous adhesive with strong initial "grab" properties. Felt Adhesive is a cold applied roofing adhesive formulated for convenience and safety, ensuring affinity and a strong, final bond to roofing felts. It is used for bonding all types of roofing felts to metal, timber or concrete, sealing roofing felt laps and bonding chippings to flat roofs. Felt Adhesive is applied at 2 square metres per litre.

Trowel Applied Bitumen Repair Mastic 5lt

Trowelmastic is a plastic, non-slumping compound which provides an effective seal between most roofing materials. It is used for general waterproofing and sealing repairs, cracks, holes and joints either as a finish or before the application of other materials. Uses -filling cracks and fissures in concrete, roofing felt, asphalt, lead, zinc, corrugated asbestos-cement, steel, masonry and renderings. Joint-sealing in gutters, spouts, down-pipes, between corrugated asbestos-cement and iron sheets, around skylights and pre-cast concrete units and bedding tiles, slates and flashings in position.

Aluminium Solar Reflective Paint 5lt & 25lt

A solvent-based bituminous aluminium paint, which provides a bright silver finish. Contains a high proportion of quality leafing grade aluminium flake. For the protection against sun and weathering of roofs and walls, particularly where bituminous surfaces, exposed steel and corrugated iron surfaces are encountered. Coverage - Approx. 8.0 m² per litre per coat on smooth surfaces. Approx. 5 - 7m² on porous or rough surfaces.

AQUASHIELD GREY STANDARD – Fibre Reinforced Roof Coating 5kg & 20kg

Aquashield is a high quality solvent based coating with added fibres that interlace to cover up small cracks or gaps to give roofs long term waterproof protection. For use on bituminous surfaces, weathered asphalt, gutters, concrete, brickwork, fibreglass, metal and aged UPVC. Aquashield can be applied to damp surfaces. Aquashield Standard coverage rate is 0.5kg per square metre dependant on substrate.

AQUASHIELD GREY HIGH BUILD – Fibre Reinforced Roof Coating 5kg

Aquashield is a high quality solvent based coating with added fibres that interlace to cover up small cracks or gaps to give roofs long term waterproof protection. INSTASTIK ROOFING ADHESIVE

INSTASTIK Roofing Adhesive is a specially formulated polyurethane foam adhesive for the purpose of adhering rigid insulation boards to flat roofs. The unique formulation provides the optimum “open time”allowing for sufficient adhesive to be applied to the substrate prior to placing the boards and provides a tenacious bond to resist wind forces. INSTA-STIK is applied to the roof substrate in beads or ribbons, the roof insulation board is then placed on to the beads straightaway or within 10 minutes and will be firmly adhered typically within 20-30 minutes.

Em-Tube Tubular Skylights effectively transmit natural daylight to internal rooms or areas that do not receive adequate daylight. Natural daylight is captured at roof level and directed downwards through rigid or flexible tubes and then diffused at ceiling level. Flat and pitched roof tubular skylights

Many buildings suffer from low levels of daylight. Occupants and workers in all types of building, e.g. residential and commercial buildings, schools and hospitals all benefit from increased levels of natural daylight. Natural daylight in buildings reduces energy demand and provides the full colour spectrum, thus reducing eyestrain, improving concentration and increasing productivity. Em-Tube is an innovative and effective means of transmitting natural daylight to otherwise poorly lit areas and with the ventilation options available the units can assist compliance with Building Regulations. The skylights can be installed into new or existing roofs with ease and can be accommodated within most roof construction types. How much light does Em-Tube transmit?

Tests carried out in the UK prove that anything up to fourteen times the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb can be achieved with 3m of flexible Em-Tube run on the 550mm diameter unit.
