Technical Features of BTS3606A Technical Features of BTS3606A

Support both the CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO

standards.

•Support CDMA2000 1X / 1xEV-DO hybrid networking. The ratio of CDMA2000 1X and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO carriers is flexible.

•Allow mixed configuration of single-channel and multi-channel transceiver modules.

Technical Features of BTS3606A Technical Features of BTS3606A

•Support the mixed insertion of different-band

carriers in the same cabinet.

• The BTS3606A can be cascaded with the

ODU3601C to expand the coverage area of radio

network flexibly.

•The maximum average transmit power is 25

Notice:Notice:

BCKMBCKM

When GPS, GLONASS or external synchronous

1PPS Signals are activated, the clock is in the

normal running mode.

When GPS, GLONASS or external synchronous

1PPS fails, the local clock is in the holdover mode.

Under this state the system can run normally for

more than 8 hours.

Page 18: 01-Cdma2000 Bts3606 Hardware System Issue2.0

Active/Standby RunningActive/Standby Running

BCKMBCKM

When fault occurs in the active BCKM, then the

services will switch over to the standby BCKM under the

control of the related software or automatically. In

following three cases this switching is occurred: A. Abnormality in CLK leads to BCKM switchover.

B. Abnormality in MPU leads to BCKM switchover.

C. The hardware failure and damage of important devices of

the board lead to BCKM switchover.

CTRM’s FunctionsCTRM’s Functions

•In the reverse link, the CTRM receives the main and diversity RF signa

ls from the antenna and feeder subsystem, and then changes them int

o baseband signals through down conversion, wave filtering and multi

plexing. Finally the CTRM sends the baseband signals to the baseband

subsystem.

•In the forward link, the CTRM receives the baseband signals from the

baseband subsystem, and then changes them into RF signals through

de-multiplexing, wave filtering and up conversion. Finally the CTRM se

nds the RF signals to the RF subsystem through the CDDU.

•Supported band: 450 MHz, 800 MHz, and 1900 MHz
