Rustenburg – This month, the Arsenal Football Club generously donated 28 player’s jerseys to the Sunrise View Secondary School’s football team. Sunrise View Primary and Secondary Schools are projects that form part of Implats’ strategy to create inte- grated communities. The company together with North West Department of Education and Impala Bafokeng Trust built both Sunrise View Primary and Secondary schools to the value of R100 million. The primary school opened in 2013 and the secondary school in 2014 each with the capacity to accommodate 1 300 learners. Rustenburg – Rustenburg’s very own promi- nent boxer, Ontiretse ‘The Fighter’ Seleke’s star continues to shine as he once again proved to be a tough opponent when he faced his contender B. Mvetyane in their feather- weight bout on Monday, 21 March 2016 in the Northern Cape. The 17-year-old Seleke won his fight against Mvetyane on points. Not only did he walk away with a gold medal, but he also scooped a trophy for Best Junior Boxer. His Coach, Matthews Padi said Seleke and Tiisetso ‘The Fighting Prince’ Padi are des- tined for the best. “I am very proud of these boys. Although they fight in different divisions, they both proved to be worthy contenders,” Padi said. Fighting in the junior welterweight division, ‘The Fighting Price’ won a silver medal in the elite bout. He is set to compete at the newly promoted Premier Boxing League by SANA- BO in Durban.
