ContextThe project Mitigation Enabling Energy Transition in the Mediterranean Region(meetMED Project) has been developed by the Mediterranean Association ofNational Agencies for Energy Management (MEDENER) and by the RegionalCentre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), and is financed bythe European Commission as part of the EU Energy and Climate Diplomacy fortwo years from May 2018 until April 2020.

MEDENER is an internationalno-profit organization gatheringagencies from North and Southof the Mediterranean region incharge of implementing publicpolicies on energy efficiencyand promotion of renewableenergy sources.
The meetMED Project is funded by the European Union.
RCREEE is an intergovernmentalorganization aiming to enableand increase the adoption ofrenewable energy and energyefficiency practices in the Arabregion.
