A N G L O - N E T H E R L A N D S CONVENTION REGARDING L E G A L PROCEEDINGS IN CIVIL A N D COMMERCIAL MATTERS.
With reference to the notice under the above heading dated the 21st February, 1935, and published in the Gazette dated the 28th February, 1935, it is hereby notified for general information that the Netherlands Government has acceded to the Anglo-Netherlands Convention regarding Legal Proceedings in Civil and Commercial Matters on the 21st May, 1932, on behalf of the Colony of Surinam (Netherlands West Indies) with effect from the 5th of May, 1935.
The authority in Surinam to whom requests for service or for the taking of evidence should be transmitted is the Attorney-Gen era! of the Court of Justice at Paramaribo, and the language to be used in communications and translations is Dutch.
This notification makes the convention effective between Palestine and the said Colony of Surinam.
