After three amazing months in the USA, Wilson and I are home once again! They always say, “Home is
where the heart is.” Our hearts are in the hot, humid, jungles of the Amazon where so many tribes and nations
are lost without Christ and are seeking a Savior. Please allow us to backtrack just a little…
During the month of September, Wilson and I had the privilege of spending time with more ministry
partners. We enjoyed fellowshipping with mission team members and sharing in churches in Illinois. We are
sorry we did not get pictures to post of all of you. Here is just a glimpse of our travels and visits…
Haven of rest at Marty & Pam’s, Mission Team Leaders Mission Team Members from Riverside Church
During our short trip to VA, God provided many unique opportunities to share with mission leaders,
pastors, an elder board, two churches, a home school group and others. We also enjoyed connecting with my
aunt, uncle, cousins and their families.

Sharing all that God is doing in Brazil through you, our ministry partners!
On the way back from VA, we were thrilled
to visit with two nephews and their wives and
meet Norah, the newest member of the family!
Jonathan, Ashley and Norah Caitlin and Joshua Narwold
God also gave us five amazing days with our son Joshua, his wife Leighann and another couple, Darrel and
Lee, who served side by side with us for six years in Manaus and have continued their partnership with us and
the ministries in Brazil.
Having fun with Joshua… Leighann and Bebe!
Darrel and Lee Carver Home sweet home. Joshua at the Hilton Anatole
We wrapped up our stay in the USA just enjoying family and fun times with
Brandon and Julie while packing our bags and getting ready to head back to Brazil.
What an incredible three months visiting with family members, supporting churches
and ministry partners. We praise God for the tremendous opportunity to see and
give our special thanks to most everyone! Although we tried, there were some we
didn’t get to see or reach and for that we are so sorry it didn’t work out this time.
It’s not easy to say good-bye to any you, both to family and those who have become
family throughout the years. We never quite know when we will be able to return.
What is so tremendous and amazing to us, however, is that we can take you back with us in our hearts and
prayers and that we have so many precious memories to cherish in the months and years ahead.
Now that we are back in Benjamin Constant, we are so thankful to the Lord for giving us the privilege of
ministering together with you in this amazing place that God has called us to.
Prayer Requests:
- For travel safety when we bring the boat from Manaus to Benjamin Constant.
(The one we were previously using and that was recently donated to us by our
mission: Asas de Socorro).
- The continuation of the hangar construction. (We are trusting God to have the
use of this hangar in 2016 for the plane and small boats. Our priority? The ramp!)
- To continue building the Church /Training Center for pastors and leaders in
Islândia, Peru.
- For the special service we will have in honor of Sunday school teachers
this month where they receive new Sunday school kits and materials and
also for the discipleship and training of teachers.
- To continue the preparation of lesson plans for the Bible stories from the Flannel
Graph kits.
Meet the two newest members of our team (to be named at a
future date). Our special thanks to Heath and Ben. We are
trusting God to add two more to the team sometime soon. This
will be a tremendous help with children’s ministries in the river
villages and in town!
Praising God for your faithful prayers and partnership,
