Pineapple Hospitality announced that the name of their new San Francisco property has changed to The Alise. The hotel has been operating in preview mode as Hotel Grace while construction, design elements, and custom art installations were in progress.

The 93 room hotel is located steps from Union Square, top theatres, Nob Hill, Fisherman’s Wharf, cable car lines and more. Designed with deep respect for the building’s 103-year-old history, the fully renovated and reimagined property has been modernized from top to bottom with thoughtful design details at every turn.

One of seven properties owned and managed by Pacific Northwest-based Pineapple Hospitality Company, The Alise is the first Pineapple hotel to open in San Francisco.

The Alise welcomes visitors with an interactive lobby experience including elegant furnishings and natural light. Guests can indulge in daily cupcake and coffee service, while a “musical mezzanine” complete with a Ferrari red player piano floats above it all.

Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced on June 11, 2015 that it acquired The Tuscan Fisherman’s Wharf, a Best Western Plus Hotel for $122 million. As part of a multi-million dollar, portfolio-wide strategic initiative, San Francisco based Greystone Hotels announces the completion of the first in a series of boutique hotel property renovations with The King George Hotel. The $4+ million project was completed in two phases, beginning in December of 2013.

SFO will construct and own the property, with the Grand Hyatt providing branding and day-to-day management of the facility. The SFO Grand Hyatt will feature approximately 350 rooms, 17,500 square feet of flexible meeting space, both full-service and casual restaurants, wine and sushi bar, rooftop cocktail lounge, health club, pool, and spa.
