Venue Politecnico di Milano (PoliMi) is a state scientific-technological university established in 1863 which trains engineers, architects and industrial designers. Education is at Bachelor, Master and PhD levels, with 18 PhD programmes and more than 1.000 ESRs, 30% of which come from abroad. PoliMi is ranked as one of the top technical universities in the world. More than 1.300 professors and researchers are employed and about 40.000 students are enrolled in the 7 campuses over which PoliMi is structured. A number of 161 laboratories are active at PoliMi campuses. The workshop will be held in Campus Leonardo at the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) of PoliMi. Bus no. 73 to Piazza San Babila: every 10 minutes from 6:00 am to 1.05 am. The cost of a single fare ticket is €1.50

Bus no. X73 Express to Piazza San Babila every 20 minutes from 7:10 am to 7:50 pm, from Monday to Friday. The cost of the ticket is €1.50

Orio shuttle to Centrale Railway Station: every 30 minutes from 3:00 am to 0:15 am. The cost of the ticket is €5.00

From Stazione Centrale (Milano Centrale station) or Stazione Cadorna: Take Line 2 of the underground railway (MM2 green line), towards Cologno Nord-Gessate. Get off the train at the Piola station. Take the left-hand exit from Piola station; walk along Via D'Ovidio, keeping to the left and cross Via Bonardi: at this point you will have arrived in Piazza Leonardo da Vinci. Politecnico di Milano is the main building facing you.
