Teacher starts of the lesson with a
video clip.Teacher states a question to test
learners’ previous knowledge gained in grade 8 about business sectors,
namely the primary, secondary and tertiary sector.

Learners watch the video and respond to the question being
asked, they must recall what they remember about
the business sectors.
Learners will give attention and
watch the power point slide show of

Introduction/ Orientation
The teacher will introduce the new
topic by using word cards along with a power point slide show and showing real life examples
(SASKO BREAD PRODUCTION), which she will
make a connection to the topic being
taught. The teacher will use
examples throughout the lesson. (Direct

ANNEXURE D (Case Study)
Pieter het ‘n boom plantasie plaas. Hy het werkers wat die bome afkap
en voorberei vir aflewering. Hierdie boomstompe word dan na Sappi
vervoer, waar hul in papier vervaardig word. Pieter verkoop die bome
(boomstompe) aan Sappi. Sappi is ‘n papier vervaardigings maatskappy,
wat die papier maak en verpak. Die papier word dan verkoop aan winkels
soos Waltons, CNA en Spar. Hier word die papier verkoop aan finale
verbruikers (ons).
