II. DELIVERABLES FOR THE APPLICATION

II.1 Concept note and terms of reference

Attachment: The complete application should include the concept note, prepared in a separate Word document by the country team based on the ESPDG guidelines and the guiding questions provided in Annex 3. The concept note should define how the education sector analysis, education plan development, and independent assessment will be approached and coordinated, and include in annex the terms of reference for the technical assistance needed.

II.2 Integrated roadmap for ESP | TEP development

Attachment: The complete application should include the integrated roadmap, prepared in the ESPDG Excel Template by the country team based on the guidelines and instructions provided in the template. The integrated roadmap should reflect a coherent set of activities along with funding sources for the education sector analysis, the development of a quality ESP | TEP and the independent appraisal of the ESP | TEP (sheet 1 in template). It also includes a timeline for the roadmap (sheet 2 in template) and a specific budget for the activities for which GPE funding |

ESPDG is requested (sheet 3 in template).

In case the local education group wishes to submit additional documents than those required (see below III.3), please list them here and attach them to the application. If the funding request has the objective to review an existing plan, please attach the plan or provide a link below.

III.2 Endorsement of application

Attachment: The complete application should include the minutes of the local education group meeting during which the ESPDG application was discussed and endorsed.

Before the application is sent to the Secretariat, it should be approved by the local education group to ensure consensus around the approach of the roadmap for the planned education sector analysis and/or ESP | TEP development or revision process and that all members of the group are properly informed.

III.3 Signature and submission

Once all deliverables for the ESPDG application have been prepared and once the present form has been completed by the grant agent, the government signs the application and submits it together with the listed attachments to the Secretariat via email [email protected] copying the coordinating agency, the grant agent, and the GPE country lead.
