    Students with graduation in Medical Science (MBBS), Dental Science (BDS), BAMS, BHMS,BUMS, BVSc & AH, BSc Nursing, Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Hospital Administration, Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology, Bachelor/ Masters in Hospital Management (BBA, MBA), Bachelor in Pharmacy, Bachelor in Social Work/ Sociology, Bachelor in Psychology/ Applied Psychology, Bachelor in Anthropology, Bachelor in Life Sciences ( Preferably CBZ), BSc Microbiology, any other graduates of relevant disciplines etc. are eligible to apply.

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi with at least 55% (Gen) [50% (OBC Non-creamy Layer)/45% (SC/ST/PWD)] of aggregate marks (or) any Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% (Gen)[50% (OBC Non-creamy Layer)/45% (SC/ST/PWD)] of marks in Hindi as Optional/Elective/Compulsory Language.     A consistently good academic record possessing M.Ed. Degree, offered by NCTE approved Institution with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) /SC/ST/PWD candidates].

    Ph.D English

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years duration) with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) / SC/ST/PWD candidates] in the concerned or an allied subject, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University / Institute.

    Ph.D Epidemiology & Public Health

    The minimum academic qualification for admission to the Ph.D. programme is a second class Master’s or equivalent degree in the relevant subject awarded by a recognised university in India or abroad, with at least an average of 55 % of aggregate marks, or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. In the case of SC/ST/OBC(non-creamy layer)/differently-abled candidates, the minimum eligibility is an average of 50 per cent of aggregate marks, or an equivalent grade.

    The programme suits for those candidates who have an interest/ expertise/ practical exposure in the area of epidemiology and public health. Relevant subjects include public health, epidemiology, social work, sociology, MD/ PSM/MVSc/MPH/, M.Sc. Molecular Biology, M.Sc. Biochemistry, Masters in Life Sciences and relevant disciplines.

    Ph.D Geography

    A consistently good academic record and possessing a M.A./M.Sc. or M.Phil. in Geography/Applied Geography or related disciplines of Earth Sciences obtained from any recognised Indian University or Foreign University equivalent, with a minimum of 55% marks for General category and 50% marks for OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories at P.G level.

    Ph.D History

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years duration) in History with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) / SC/ST/PWD candidates] overall marks, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three duration years in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

    Ph.D Hindi

    M.Phil. or Master’s degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant or allied subject from any University/ recognised Institution with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST /PWD candidates) at P.G. level.

    Ph.D Horticulture

    M.Sc. in Horticulture / Fruit Science / Vegetable Science / Floriculture/ Spices, Plantation Crops & Medicinal and Aromatics / Post Harvest Technology / M.Sc. (Agri.) in Horticulture / Plant Breeding and Genetics/ Seed Science and Technology / Biotechnology in a 10+2+4+2 system obtained from any recognized Indian University or Foreign University equivalent (approved by AIU), with a minimum of 55% marks for General category and 50% marks for OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories.

    Ph.D Library and Information Science

    A pass in the Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science Programme from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. A relaxation of 5% may be provided in marks from 55% to 50% to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.

(two years duration) with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non – creamy layer)/SC/ST /PWD candidates] in Materials Science Physics/ Chemistry / Applied Physics / Applied Chemistry / Nano science / Nano technology / Electronics (OR) M.E./M.Tech. in Materials Science/Mechanical Engg. / Metallurgy / Nano technology / Nano electronics/Applied Electronics / Ceramic Technology / Polymer Technology (except Computer Science/IT/Food Technology), preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University / Institute. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission is 55% for General Category, 50% for OBC (Non-creamy Layer) and 45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

    Ph.D Mathematics

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD in Mathematics, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University/Institute.

    Ph.D Music

    A consistently good academic record and possessing a Master's degree in Music obtained from any recognised Indian University or its equivalent, with a minimum of 55% marks for General category and 50% marks for OBC/SC/ST/PWD categories.

    Ph.D Physics

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates] in Physics, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University/Institute.

    Ph.D Social Work

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years duration)/ M.Phil. degree with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD candidates] in P.G. in Social Work preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years/ four years duration from a recognized University/Institute.

    Ph.D Statistics

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years duration) with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD] in Statistics or allied subjects, preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University/Institute

    OR Five years integrated M.Sc. degree with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD] in Statistics or allied subjects.

    Ph.D Tamil

    A consistently good academic record possessing a Master’s Degree (two years duration) with a minimum of 55% marks [50% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) /SC/ST/PWD candidates] in Master’s degree in Tamil / equivalent subject in Tamil , preceded by a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent Degree of three years duration from a recognized University.

    ****#All those candidates who are applying for admission into PhD programmes and have cleared National Level Fellowship Examinations i.e. UGC-JRF / UGC-CSIR-JRF have to apply through CUCET 2020 online portal and they are exempted from CUCET 2020 Entrance Exam. However, they have to appear for INTERVIEW. ONLY shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview. Some of the Departments may conduct Written test at the time of interview, if required. Preference will be given for candidates with JRF.

    Candidates claiming admission under OBC category should produce OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) as per Central government format. OBC certificate issued by the State Government format will not be accepted.
