“That this council would declare itself a signatory to the European Covenant of Mayors that would commit this Council going beyond the objectives set by the EU for 2020, reducing the CO2 emissions from energy with respect to the County of Tipperary, to submit a sustainable energy action plan including a detailed baseline emissions analysis and submit on-going implementation reports”

Objective of Tipperary SEAP (TEAP)

• Maximising funding and investment for sustainable energy in Tipperary

• To reduce energy related CO2• To provide a local economic stimulus now

and forever.
