  • The Tiger Shark has tiger-like markings on a dark back with an off-white underbelly. On average the Tiger Shark is about 10 feet long, but can grow up to 20 feet long. Tiger Sharks teeth are saw-edged and rotate into place.

  • Tiger Sharks will eat fish, turtles, crabs, clams, mammals, sea birds, reptiles and other sharks. They swim in tropical waters world wide and in some temperate seas. Tiger Sharks go from the surface to 1,200 feet deep. The Tiger Sharks swim at an average speed of 2.4 mph. The life span of the Tiger Shark is unknown. The Tiger Sharks are animals that like to live alone, except during mating.
