IT HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD YEAR. Listen well, Scarabae it has been a,very good year. The shows were interesting and wellattended... Many awards winners with quality pieces... Many outsideawards & acknowledgments brought back to the Scarab Club by worksand awards of our members... Club social functions were a hit, highlighted by fun, good food and great companionship...Manyrepairs and needed improvements to this great old building... But,the enviable raindrops -- we lost a few good Scarabs to death, oras we used to call him The Grim(y) Reaper.

BUZZED OUT. This is the last publication of The Buzz until nextfall. Although there are no activities scheduled for the summermonths at the Club, it will be busy just the same. John andVernon will be working diligently to prepare for next season. In addition, restoration work will begin on the south facing(Farnsworth side) of the clubhouse thanks to the most recentefforts of Charles Kelly and past fund-raising committees. Have ahappy and healthy summer and keep producing.
