Carved wooden box, lid has greeting, front panel has Australian and Union Jack Flags, both ends have Australian Commonwealth Military Forces badge, back of the box has silver material strip as hinge, missing part of the left hand side. Box was presented to George W Banks Medical Corps Western Front 1917 he was born Liverpool NSW and died in Parramatta NSW. Australian Imperial Forces 3796A 1st Pion Battalion. Donated by Eric Bernard O'Malley and Isabel Mary O'Malley, Mr Banks was the uncle of Mr O'Malley.
