As we near the end of our 2016-2017 school year I want to thank the board members of our Havel Volunteer League. Kim, Bill, Shannon, Debbie, and Erica- Your hard work, time, and effort that you put into ALL of our students is appreciated by so very many. You are welcome to come in to the school office

from 10-11AM and from 1-3PM to register your student for

Kindergarten.

Children are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before September 1, 2017. However, children who turn five between September 1 and December 1, 2017 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten if their parents submit a waiver form and make an appointment to meet with the principal, Ms. Barel.

To register, parents must supply:

An original birth certificate or certified copy, with raised seal, issued by the clerk of the county where your child was born or the health department of the state of birth;

Your child's health immunization record; including vision and hearing screenings. Be sure to schedule immunization updates early these appointments are often limited;

Photo I.D. (Driver's license or work photo I.D.)

Proof of residency, such as property tax bill, closing papers or lease agreement. Please know that we are not able to accept utility bills.

Elementary - June Newsletter Article

During June, Havel Elementary will once again distribute reports cards electroni-cally. The fourth marking period grades will be sent electronically to families at the end of the day on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

To receive the report cards, parents will need to have a secure PowerSchool ac-count. Parents who do not have access to a PowerSchool account will need to regis-ter for one prior to June 13, 2017. The report cards will then be automatically e-mailed to the address that is used to register the PowerSchool account.

If you already have a PowerSchool account, you do not need to take any further ac-tion. The report card will be automatically sent to you electronically.

Our school will no longer automatically print and mail report cards to parents.
