If the continuous insulation board manufacturer’s installation instructions do not address installation of two or more layers, the edge joints between each layer of continuous insulation boards shall be staggered. the applicable requirements for doors as specified in Table C402.1.4 3. and C402.4 and Opaque nonswinging doors shall comply with Table C402.1.3. Opaque doors shall be considered part of the gross area of above-grade walls that are part of the building thermal envelope. Other doors shall comply with the provisions of Section C402.4.3 for vertical fenestration.

C402.7 Vestibules.
