After the demonstration these Drone techniques were practically brought in action in Bapu Dham Colony, Chandigarh, the biggest containment area and the most infected zone. The drone captured the data of the most vulnerable area and that area was also sensitized. DIG Omvir Bishnoi, SSP Shashank Anand, SSP Nilambari Jagbale, SP Vineet Kumar, technical team of Indian Robotics, President Salil Bali and Vinod Nagpal of our RCC for Special Persons participated in this action. The club also handed over 5 foot operated Sanitizing Units to the police force for installation at the appropriate locations in the city. The Police officials appreciated these innovative and much needed step. Rotary Chandigarh Midtown assisting Chandigarh Police with Robotic Techniques
Our Club in association with Indian Robotic Company, Delhi assisted Chandigarh

● Set-up 3 Libraries in Govt. Schools of U.T. Chandigarh under Rotary Foundation Project.
● Distributed 100 Nos. TATA Swatch Water Purifiers to the needy from 5 different walks of life under 'Clean Drinking Water Project' supported by
TRF and RI District 7770 USA.
● Upgraded facilities at 'Aasara-Rotary Sarai' at GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh, RI President Kalyan Banerjee visited and highly appreciated the
project. He was very impressed to see this unique project and complimented our Club.
● Distributed 11 Micro-Loans of Rs. 2,75,000/- to the needy for self-employment.
● 5 Scholarship totaling Rs. 2,50,000/- were given to poor Girl Students pursuing Engineering. ● Our Club nominee Ms. Palika Monga selected by District, visited RID-1140, U.K. as GSE Team Member.
● Hosted 3 Couples under Family Friendship Exchange Team from RID-9320, South Africa. 3 Couples from our club visited South Africa in
exchange program.
● Distributed medical kits to girl students of Home Care Nursing & First Aid Training. Restarted Sewing and Tailoring Training at village Faida.
● 15 unemployed youth were trained in the vocation of plumbing with the support of our District 3080.

In the first zoom / online meeting of Rotary Chandigarh Midtown held on May 08, 2020 President Salil Dev Singh Bali welcomed the Chief Guest Mr.
Harjot Singh and all Rotarians who attended this virtual meeting. Harjot Singh was formally introduced by PP Dr. Rita Kalra. Harjot has been doing
comedy shows for last 2 years. He has also done shows for defense forces, corporate, schools, colleges, universities and also on radio FMs. He has
also entertained senior citizens with his comedy. He also performs on youtube.
In our zoom meeting Harjot entertained us with his comedy, connecting with everybody present. Even Rotarians shared some jokes creating the much
needed humour in the meeting.
Members were delighted to see each other after a gap of over six weeks and greeted each other the moment President Salil Bali, the host of zoom
meeting connected us through the virtual platform. Salil thanked our members for attending the first ever wonderful Zoom Meeting of Rotary
Chandigarh Midtown which was attended by more than 30 members.
We would be having zoom meeting fortnightly till we resume regular meetings on physical platform.
