Casa per casa non è solo un ufficio, uno studio o una mostra, è molto di più, è una famiglia.

Ho fatto lo stage lì per 3 settimane, era la mia prima esperienza di stage, mi aspettavo una cosa un po’ diversa, invece,

credo che meglio di così non mi potesse andare.

Lavorando lì la prima cosa che ho notato è stato il rapporto tra i colleghi, che non è quello formale che magari si pensa

o si vede in TV, ma è di amicizia e di fratellanza; mi ha colpito molto anche il fatto che i “capi” non si comportano da

“capi”, ma stanno con i loro dipendenti e sono sempre disposti ad aiutare e ad essere aiutati. Non mi sono mai sentita

trascurata, i colleghi mi hanno sempre trattato molto bene, se avevo bisogno di qualcosa mi hanno sempre aiutato e han-

no risposto a tutti i miei dubbi.

Un cliente guardando la mostra potrebbe pensare che Casa per Casa sia uno studio che fa progetti moderni,

invece, crea progetti su misura cercando di seguire i gusti del cliente. La mostra mi ha colpito molto, soprattutto

il divano grigio con gli schienali che si possono spostare, le sedie rimbalzanti, all’inizio pensavo fossero oggetti di

arredo poi ho visto gli altri che si sedevano, all’inizio mi ha fatto un po’ ridere, poi ho pensato che fosse un’idea

davvero innovativa, costruire delle sedie con l’elastico, e sono molte di queste idee innovative che si possono

trovare da Casa per Casa, poi ho visto in mostra uno specchio fantastico, con la cornice di vetro in vari toni di

argento, che mi ha fatto venire in mente lo specchio di una principessa perché risplende e fa risplendere.

Da quest’estate il vecchio magazzino si è trasformato in un vero giardino con piante e fiori, è molto bello ed è

molto piacevole stare lì, e credo che una delle cose più belle del giardino, sia una specie di poltrona/altalena appe-

sa alle travi del soffitto, a forma di sfera con dei cuscini dentro, ho sempre sognato di averne una così. Poi un’idea

molto innovativa sono dei sacchi, impermeabili, che sono stati creati per coltivare le proprie piante, come fosse un

orto. Un’altra cosa molto particolare è il lampadario che è appeso in uno stanzino nel giardino, è semplicemente

fantastico, perché è completamente formato da pietre scintillanti e fa ricordare i lampadari delle sale da ballo dei

vecchi palazzi, anche se è appeso in un stanzino un po’ spento, risplende lo stesso, anzi, lo fa risplendere di più.

Lavorando qui si impara che non è importante solo la professionalità, ma anche la creatività e la precisione.

Gli architetti e non solo, hanno molte idee e tutte diverse, credo che se un cliente entri con le idee abbastanza

chiare, esca con le idee un po’ più confuse, però i progettisti sono sempre pronti ad aiutarli.

L’atmosfera è bella lì, perché ognuno ci mette un po’ del suo carattere e insieme formano un’atmosfera calda,

familiare, ma comunque formale.

Nell’ufficio in cui ho lavorato è appeso un foglio con scritto: “chi lavora con le mani è un operaio, chi lavora con

il cervello è un tecnico, chi lavora con il cuore è un artista, ma chi lavora con mani, cervello e cuore…è un vendi-

tore!”, però lavorando lì mi è venuta un domanda: e chi lavora con l’anima che cos’è?.

Casa per casa is not just an office, or a studio or a simple design shop, it is much more, it is a family.

I did an internship there for 3 weeks, it was my first internship experience, I was expecting something a bit different,

however, I think better than that I could go.

Working there, the first thing I noticed was the relationship between colleagues, that is not so formal, the type you could

see on TV, but based on friendship and brotherhood, I was surprised by the fact that the “boss” do not behave as “boss”,

but they are with their employees and are always willing to help and be helped. I never felt neglected, my colleagues have

always treated me very well, if I needed something I have always helped me and answered all my questions.

Looking at the showroom, a customer might think that Casa per Casa is a study specialized only in modern

interiors, however, they creates customized projects, trying to follow the customer’s wishes. The showroom has

impressed me a lot, especially the gray sofa with the moving backs and the bouncing chairs that, at first, I thought

were simple furnishing objects and then I saw others who were sitting and at the beginning this made me laugh

a bit, but then I thought it was a truly innovative idea: to build chairs with rubber bands, and many of these

innovative examples that can be found at Casa per Casa. Then I saw a fantastic mirror, with the frame in various

shades of silver, which made me think a princess mirror because of its reflections.

From this summer the old warehouse has been transformed into a garden with plants and flowers, it is very nice

and it is very pleasant to be there, and I think one of the most beautiful things in the garden, is a kind of spherical

chair/swing, with pillows inside, hanging from the ceiling beams. I always dreamed of having one.

Then an idea very innovative are waterproof bags, which were made for cultivating your plants everywehere even

in a flat without garden. Another thing very special, is the chandelier that hangs in a room in the garden. It is just

great, because it is entirely made up of sparkling stones. It reminds the chandeliers of the old buildings ballrooms

and even if it is hung in a little quite dark room, it shines the same, in fact, it does shine more.

Working here you will learn that not only knowledge is important, but also the creativity and accuracy. The

architects not only have many ideas but also different from person to person. I believe that if a customer come

in with clear enough ideas, he come out of the shop with a lot of suggestions that he had not even thought about

and designers are always ready to help.

The atmosphere is beautiful there, because everyone brings here a little of his character and together they form a

warm, familiar enviroment, but still professional.

In the office where I worked hangs a sheet with this quote: “Who works with his hands is an artisan, who works

with the brain is a technician who works with the heart is an artist, but who works with his hands, brain and

heart ... it’s a salesman!” But working there I got a question, and those who work with the soul what is it?

Come nasce un giardinodi Romina De Zottis

Nel 1970 quando mio padre Rodolfo costruì la casa di famiglia con adiacente l’azienda vivaistica, il giardino era un grande prato con un’unica pianta di Taxodium Distichum (Cipresso delle paludi o Cipresso Calvo).Quell’albero rappresentò solo la prima “pianta” di una evoluzione armoniosa ed informale.Il progetto vero e proprio, fatto di idee, schizzi e tavole di disegno, arriverà vent’anni dopo quando, con la costruzione della piscina, si ridefinisce anche il giardino. Fino a questo momento, molte altre piante erano state inserite ma tutte disposte in modo libero e a piacere della famiglia. Le specie più impor-tanti sono state: Liquidambar, Lagerstroemia, Punica Granatum (Melograno da frutto), un secolare Giuggiolo (Zizyphus Sativa), Ginkgo Biloba ed arbusti di Osmanthus, Spiraea e Viburnum, inoltre sono state realizzate aiuole e bor-dure curvilinee di Pachysandra terminalis, mughetti, Paeonia e Helleborus.Nel 1992 si reimposta quindi il giardino che viene ampliato per la realizza-zione della piscina e dell’area relax/solarium ed il punto di forza del nuovo progetto è stato mettere al centro dell’attenzione la “prima pianta”, il Taxo-dium. L’armonia tra il vecchio ed il nuovo giardino è stata raggiunta grazie alla realizzazione di percorsi in pietra naturale, delimitati da siepi di Bosso e bordure di arbusti.Da fondo prospettico del giardino è stata creata una “collina” piantumata a Lecci ed Aucube che assieme ad un grande albero di Olivo, crea un’area di privacy per i fruitori della piscina.Per delimitare lo spazio verde e sancire definitivamente l’unione tra nuovo ed esistente, sono state infine inserite lungo il perimetro siepi di Carpinus betulus, Illex aquifolium e Osmanthus aquifolium.Nel 2009 si realizza la nuova sede aziendale con la costruzione di uffici e magazzino ed essendo adiacente all’abitazione si rende necessario armoniz-zare i nuovi spazi verdi con il giardino della casa padronale. Per questo sono stati creati dei percorsi in ghiaino che collegano la casa agli uffici e riproposte siepi di Bosso che si allineano prospetticamente con quelle dell’abitazione. L’obiettivo del nuovo progetto verde è stata la realizzazione di una vasca d’acqua ecologica per ninfee all’entrata degli uffici, attorno a questa sono state disposte aiuole geometriche di Rose, Hydrangea, Sedum ed Abelia sui toni del bianco e del rosa, in vari angoli delle sfere di Bosso secondo uno schema di giardino contemporaneo.Come “colonne portanti” del nuovo verde, sono stati inseriti alberi di Fagus, Lagertroemia di fioritura bianca e Carpinus Betulus Pyramidalis.L’attuale giardino di casa De Zottis, rappresenta l’evoluzione di uno spazio che nasce e si trasforma nel tempo, si adatta alle nostre esigenze e rappresenta la nostra vita ma a sua volta ci offre bellezza e grandi emozioni.

In 1970 when my father Rodolfo built the family home close to the company facilities, the garden was a large lawn with a single plant of Distichum Taxo-dium (Bald Cypress).The tree represented only the first step of an harmonious and informal evo-lution.The real “garden project”, made up of ideas, sketches and drawings, came twenty years later when, designisn the pool we redefine the garden. Until now, many other plants were included but all arranged following the family wishes. The most important species were: Liquidambar, Lagerstroemia, Gra-natum Punica (Pomegranate fruit), a centuries-old jujube (Zizyphus Sativa), an Ginkgo Biloba and shrubs of Osmanthus, Spiraea and Viburnum, were also made borders of curvilinear Pachysandra terminalis, lily of the valley, Paeonia and Helleborus.In 1992, we design the new garden that is now extended to include the swimming pool and solarium and the strength of the new project come from the first original “step”, the Taxodium. The harmony between the old and the new garden has been achieved thanks to the implementation of natural stone paths, bordered by boxwood hedges and borders of shrubs.A “hill” planted with Ilex and Aucube and a great Olivo tree, were planted to create a privacy screen for the users of the pool.To define the green space and establish definitively the union between new area and existing one, there were finally inserted along the perimeter, fences of Carpinus betulus, Illex aquifolium and Osmanthus aquifolium.In 2009 we realized the new corporate headquarters with the construction of office and warehouse space that are adjacent to the house so it is necessary to harmonize the new green spaces with the existing garden. For this we set up in the gravel paths that connect the house to the office and again Boxwood hedges that align with the perspective of the home.The aim of the new green project was the creation of a pool of water for Water Lilies at the entrance of the offices, then we arranged around geome-tric beds of roses, hydrangea, sedum and Abelia with shades of white and pink. Then in various spot, we made corners with spheres of Bosso following the scheme of a contemporary garden.As “main elements” of the new green, were placed the following trees: Fagus, Lagertroemia of white flowers and Carpinus betulus Pyramidalis.The current backyard De Zottis, is the evolution of a space that is born and evolves over time, it adapts to our needs, represents our life but in turn, gives us beauty and emotions.

intrigante a materializzarsi.

L’architetto, responsabile di cantiere, Mr. Jouan, tecnico disponibile e

preciso, caratteristiche d’altronde tipicamente svizzere, è riuscito a m

etterci in contatto con gli idraulici, gli elettricisti, i piastrellisti, i pittori, i serram

entisti, i giardinieri, tutte figure professionali del luogo.L

Fin dall’antichità l’uomo ha sempre cercato di relazionarsi in maniera positiva con l’ambiente che lo cir-conda e in special modo con gli spazi costruiti. L’inconscio bisogno di trovare spazio nel mondo e quindi di costruire luoghi da abitare in armonia è una caratteristica di tutti i popoli.In oriente, da quasi 5000 anni, è stata sviluppata una disciplina chia-mata Feng Shui che, partendo dalle radici profonde della filosofia Tao, indagando le energie che pervadono i luoghi e le persone che li abitano, ha portato ad una serie di regole che permettono di progettare, modifi-care e adattare gli spazi costruiti e vissuti in modo da creare un insie-me armonico con le persone che li vivono.Letteralmente “Vento e Acqua”, due energie primigenie del mondo rappresentanti il movimento e la quiete, il Feng Shui studia il rapporto tra gli spazi e le persone che li abi-tano, basandosi sull’antico principio taoista dell’armonia degli opposti.Vento e Acqua sono gli unici due elementi che modificano la natura e indispensabilmente vitali per l’es-sere umano: possiamo fare a meno di tutto, anche avere una resistenza enorme con il minimo di cibo, ma non di respirare e bere.FENG è dunque sia soffio vitale per l’uomo, sia aria, cielo, vento, torna-do, luce per la terra. Since ancient times, mankind has always tried to relatepositively with the surrounding environment and especiallywith built spaces. The unconscious need to find space in the world and then to build places where to live in harmony is a characteristic of all peoples.In the East, for almost 5000 years, it has been developed a discipline called Feng-Shui which, starting with deep roots in the philosophy Tao, investigating the energy that perva-des the places and the people who inhabit, has led to a series of rules that allow to design, modify and adapt the built and living spaces to create an harmonious whole with the people who live there. Literally “Wind and Water”, two pri-meval world energies representing the movement and stillness, Feng Shui studies the relationship betwe-en the spaces and the people who inhabit them, based on the ancient Taoist principle of the harmony of opposites.Wind and water are the only two elements that modify the nature and indispensably vital for human beings: we can live without everything, even have a huge resistance with minimum of food, but not without to breathe or to drink.FENG is therefore both breath of life for man, and air, sky, wind, tornado, light to the earth. SHUI is water, vital for humans but also watering, humi-dity, rain, river, sea, lake for the land.Both are synonymous, not of stasis but of movement, which exists in every form of life and its changes (birth - life - death - rebirth, spring - summer - fall - winter, day and night,etc.), a definition of the continuous pace of evolution and cyclicity being.Feng Shui is a way to search the harmony with the space around us: its principles and theories are neces-sary to recover balance and serenity through simple concepts of universal character. The harmony and balance of the people pass through proper design of domestic and work spaces, of furniture and objects that perme-ate our daily life, especially of the colors that are used for decorate these spaces.The art of Feng Shui is a universal art, because the Eastern principles can also be interpreted in the con-temporary Western culture. Therefore, the principles of this an-cient art (very often seen as a simple fashion) form the basis of a science that applies to all places, so much so that in the Middle Ages these princi-ples were used by master builders of cathedrals and palaces.Currently, many world-renowned architects, both Western and Eastern, are using these principles, more or less in an evident way, transforming them into armonic shapes to design large and small works, places where to live or work in harmony.

La cubo visione nasce dall’idea del gruppo di dare vita ad un’esperienza di co-marketing. Pensiamo che la fruizione dello stesso ambiente lavorativo fra aziende qualificate con competenze diverse, legate da un filo conduttore, porti siner-gia al lavoro e ne migliori la qualità.Già da un po’ pensavamo ad una situazione home made all’interno della nostra struttura che si legasse perfettamente al nostro mood. Da anni collaboriamo con Massimo Forte, per quel che riguarda il mondo della tappezzeria e dei tessuti. Con il passare del tempo il rapporto si è consolidato e si è fatta strada l’idea di intraprendere l’esperienza di co-marketing con Massimo. L’esigenza era di creare un laboratorio nel laboratorio!Il progetto prevede l’installazione di un cubo in ferro, posto simbolicamente a delineare la “cellula dei tessuti”. Pensate, vi sono appese più di 500 tirelle, ciascuna con una ventina di tessuti di ogni tipo.Ho realizzato per voi un’intervista a Massimo, per permettervi di conoscere

+ Quali aspetti cerchi di cogliere nella persona che ti sta chiedendo

un prodotto?

m.f. Le aspettative emozionali e l’aspetto creativo della persona.

+ In base a cosa proponi un prodotto piuttosto che un altro (disponibilità

economica, tempi di realizzazione, esigenze specifiche)?

m.f. In base alla specifiche richieste: stanza di destinazione

e successivamente in base all’aspetto economico.

+ Confezioni direttamente i tendaggi?

m.f. Confeziono direttamente nel mio laboratorio attrezzato a Sacile.

Utilizzo macchinari, ma lavoro anche a mano libera.

Si tratta comunque esclusivamente di lavorazioni artigianali.

+ Vi sono delle tecniche particolari che prediligi o consigli?

m.f. Per ottenere un prodotto perfetto, ogni tessuto richiede una vasta

esperienza ed una specifica lavorazione, in quanto le fibre hanno

reazioni molto diverse fra loro.

+ Hai delle nozioni tecniche da dare su alcuni tessuti?

m.f. Tra le diverse aziende cito Agena sul cui sito sono presenti le collezioni

della carta da parati e dei coordinati tessili_www.agenagroup.it.

+ Un cliente può contare di avere una tua visita prima di ricevere

una proposta?

m.f. Faccio sopralluoghi e fornisco una prima valutazione sulla tipologia

di tenda che ritengo più adatta.

+ Chi si occupa del montaggio?

m.f. Me ne occupo io, in questo modo garantisco sul risultato.

+ Come è nato il progetto con Casa per Casa?

m.f. Il progetto è nato dall’idea condivisa di voler migliorare e garantire

una maggiore qualità del servizio al cliente.

Sempre in tema di tessuto, vorrei segnalare una delle novità Lago: Et Voilà.Lago ha aperto la strada ad un arredamento vestibile che possa essere applicato alla zona giorno, alla zona notte e in futuro anche alla cucina.La tecnologia di scorrimento del tessuto, studiato per prevenire il passaggio della polvere, è basata su un sistema magnetico a trazione continua e la sua facilità di sostituzione consente di variare velocemente colori e pattern.A tutto questo aggiungiamo inoltre un alto potere fonoassorbente, in grado di contribuire ad un benessere ambientale evidente.Per tutti quelli che si stanno facendo domande sulla manutenzione, specifico

che il tessuto è lavabile in acqua presso strutture specializzate.

The cube vision was born from an idea of the Group to create a co-marketing experience.We believe that the fruition of the same working environment among qualified companies with different and specific competences, linked by a common thread, creates synergy in the job and definitely improves its quality.We have been thinking for some time about a home-made situation inside our structure, which would perfectly reflect our mood. Since several years, our Group cooperates with Massimo Forte in the segment of upholstery and fabrics. With the passing of time, the relationship has consolidated and the idea of starting the co-marketing experience with Massimo became more and more real.We wanted to create a lab in the lab!The project involves the installation of an iron cube, symbolically representing the “fabrics cell”. The cell encompasses an impressive number of fabric hangers (more than 500), each of them containing twenty varieties of fabrics, distinguishing in colours and materials.I have interviewed Massimo, so you can know a little of his job, which is really interesting.

+ What are the aspects you try to understand when you talk to a person

commissioning a job?

m.f. The emotional and the creative expectations of the person.

+ On which bases do you propose a product instead of another (budget,

timing required for the realization, specific enquiry of the client, etc.)?

m.f. I always listen to the specific requirements coming from the client

(destination room and afterwards budget).

+ Do you make the confection of your curtains?

m.f. Yes, I do personally confection my curtains, in my laboratory located

in Sacile. Everything is hand made, although of course I do have

machinery to help in the job.

+ Is there any special technique you prefer or recommend?

m.f. To obtain a perfect result, every fabric requires knowledge, experience

and a specific processing, as fibres react differently from each other.

+ Is there any really interesting technical information about the fabrics

you use?

m.f. Yes, you can find some interesting ideas looking at Agena Collections:

+ Can a client count expect to receive a visit of his ambient before you

make a proposal?

m.f. Yes, I do visit the rooms and I give a first recommendation about the

m.f. I do it personally and grant the result.

+ Why have you developed the project with Casa per Casa?

m.f. Our project was born from the common idea of creating a synergy

for granting the best possible service to the client.

m.f. The flexibility and the evolution capacity.

Talking about fabrics, I would like to introduce a new Lago project: Et Voilà.LAGO has opened a way to textile interiors, that can be used for the living room, the bedroom, and in the future also to the kitchen. The technology is based on a magnetic system with continuous traction. The fabric has been studied not to allow dust passing through and for being easily replaced, offering the possibility to change colours and patterns. The high sound-absorbing capacity is also an important feature. Last but not least, the extremely easy maintenance is surely another plus: the fabric does not need dry-cleaning but can be washed with appropriate programs.
