- State will update its AI in 2 phases which will include areas eligible to receive Hurricane recovery funds and public comment.

- Mandatory training for fund recipients to address AFFH and civil rights compliance.

- Complainants review plans and monitor compliance for jurisdictions receiving funds

- Disaster Housing Demonstration Program

+TXLIHIS Joins Efforts with TOP

Blue tarps in Houston were an all too familiar sight several years after Hurricane Ike. After a two year campaign led by low income homeowners from Houston’s hardest hit neighborhoods, TOP secured an agreement with Mayor Parker that will dedicate $150 million of Federal Hurricane Ike Recovery Funds to address housing & infrastructure issues within historically underserved communities.

HCDD invites developers to produce quality true mixed income units in underserved communities and commit to community engagement.
