MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED 1/ This heart was coloured with poster paint sticks, but you could use textas, crayons, pencils or even paint. You could colour or draw whatever you like! The background square is just plain yellow paper. template (attached) glue stick scissors lead pencil For this week's art project we will be using only materials available to you at home so please don't go to any trouble to get anything. This activity can be quite simple or can be complicated just depending on how creative you want to be, but be warned... once you start you won't want to stop! The focus of this K-6 project is on love and kindness and that we're all in this together. Once back at school it would be fantastic to see these hung altogether! Task: To create a square (12cm sides) and cut and glue a heart inside. IDEAS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO TRY MATERIALS YOU MIGHT NEED coloured paper/ cardboard coloured textas or crayons newspaper/ magazines tissue paper/ wrapping paper paint/ watercolour paints gems/ sequins/ pipe cleaners wool/ felt toothbrush, bubblewrap for painting Please Note: Each student only needs to create one heart artwork, but may complete more if they choose to. Please make sure your name and class is on the back of your work and after you've taken a photo to upload to Class Dojo you keep it (or them) somewhere safe to bring it in once we all return to school.
