This particular presentation was developed for Visual Phonics Family Night to familiarize parents/relatives of the handshapes, symbols, and sounds the students use so parents can understand the program and its benefits. What is Visual Phonics?

• Visual Phonics is a system that associates each sound in our language with a hand signal and a graphic symbol.

• Visual Phonics was originally designed for individuals who could not hear the sounds of our language. It offers kinesthetic sensations to help develop oral motor awareness and sound-letter awareness for your child.
