If you are done… make sure your senior social studies teacher has your log sheet and an artifact to show what you did...
This artifact can be a picture, a written reflection by you, information about the place you volunteered at (i.e. a brochure) etc.
Then, your teacher can CHECK you off in their LIFE hours Binder and you are DONE!
You need to figure out what you are planning on doing to finish your hours TODAY!!!
Here are some options of events coming up that you can volunteer for…

President’s day and Spring Break days from 8-12

Attend 4 winter sporting events with an elementary or middle school student from the area to earn 10 hours of credit!
Be a Mentor to this students and encourage them to get involved in their school and their community!
Sign up starts March 14th - applications on the LIFE hours board outside the social studies office!

WHAT: Help organize and work at the care center distributing food and clothes to those in need.

Find out what materials you need and learn how to make hats
Make hats on your own time and turn them in to be donated to earn LIFE hours
We are looking for a group of students to create and run a mini I-Compete program in the arts
You would meet with Mrs. Guthrie to create the hours and choose the dates
You would create and run the program! Earn up to 20 hours of service for this
project!
Help run the VIP craft fair bake sale!
March 12th › Shifts from 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm
Only 2 spots for volunteers at each shift!!
