SHERLOCK HOLMES AFTERNOON GOLD ACTIVITY PROGRAMME
PLYMOUTHYou’ll learn all about one of Britain’s greatest authors, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. There will be film nights and quizzes based on the writer and his Sherlock Holmes novels. You will have the chance to travel like Sherlock on a steam train through the Devon countryside. Plus an opportunity to practise your English by re-creating a scene from a Sherlock Holmes book and then filming it.

HERITAGE AFTERNOON GOLD ACTIVITY PROGRAMME
PLYMOUTHYou’ll learn all about many aspects of UK heritage, such as The Royal Family and the prestigious British Navy. There will also be film nights and quizzes based on UK history. Themed activities will give you a feel for what it was like in early 19th century Britain. Plus an opportunity to practise your English by re-creating a scene from a Jane Austen book and then filming it.

PORTSMOUTHYou’ll be ‘sorted’ into houses and earn points throughout the week. Film nights and quizzes will all be based on the Harry Potter books. There will also be an opportunity to practise your English by re-creating a scene from a Harry Potter story and then filming it.
