Because I like to drink grams soup, so I chose the topic.

I looked the website up finding the information about grams soup when I come back. The grams are parched at first, so it has the flavor. The grams soup is the most special before I drunk.

THE REASON OF CHOOSING THE SNACKS

Because preserved fruit is famous snacks in Tainan city then they are also my favorite food so I want to realize about its histories and process manufacture.

HISTORY BACKGROUND There was a person saw a lot of different kinds of

fruit in Yuanlin. He thought it was a pity that those fruit didn’t be made to preserved fruits. First he cut all the fruit in small pieces, and then mixed with salt and sugar put at the place where is dark for several days. This is the earliest history in Taiwan.

PREPARED AND INGREDIENTS

Preserved fruits are made of fresh vegetables and fruits. After preserved with salt and sugar boiled with sugar and dried in the sun.

INDIVIDUAL FEELINGS

In this store, there are many kinds of preservedfruit that makes many customers like this verymuch were made by different fruits. However, my favorite is the dried mango because it tastessour and sweet. I think it is much more deliciousthan fresh mango.

The reason of choosing this snackHistory background : Yang’s wife

mentioned they operated a small grocery store many years ago. There was a

construction site, the workers always liked to buy some drinks. Although drinks could relieve their thirst, couldn’t relieve their hungry. So the workers suggested

the owner selling something drink..

Consequently, the owner started to sellrice dumpling. Everybody called 「樹子頭肉粽」 .By word of mouth, the 「樹子頭肉粽」was famous and famous. Theowner’s first name is Yang, his wife wascalled Yang sau. So the Yang ge Yangsau glutinous rice dumpling was spread.The store had found 40years

ate, I fell in love with it.

How this food is being made 1.Soak rice dumpling leaves and glutinous

rice in water about two or three hours, dry up.

2.Stew the dried mushrooms and lean meat about thirty minutes, remain the juice.

3.Stir the juice and glutinous rice, fold the two leaves up, then fill a half glutinous

rice, put lean meat 、 peanut 、 egg yolk 、 dried mushrooms 、 chestnut inside.

4.Wrap it in triangle. Simmer the rice dumpling about two hours.
