The Location
1. Camp Waw an Namus, close to point of Greatest-Eclipse: World’s best viewing location. Arrival via Waw al Kabir Military airport. 2 sleeper Superior and Luxury, and 4 sleeper Superior sleeping camp

Camp Layout and InfrastructureCamp Layout and Infrastructure
Camp will be laid out as a small city, with “streets” between each row of tents. Groups wishing to stay together, will be accommodated in their own “villages” Focal point of Eclipse City will be the Restaurant Tent, Conference tent , Business Centre, Medical facility,
“shopping village” and camp management tent Security will be provided by the Libyan Military Camp will be fenced off, with one central access Camp access will be by way of designated arm tags to be worn by guests Security staff will police the camp internally 24 hours a day. There will be an entertainment arena, as well as a designated “view site area” within the camp Camp management tent will be manned 24 hours a day and includes a “lost and found” All security staff, Camp management and group leaders will be issued with walkie talkie radios for central
communication There will be a medical tent for 24 hour medical care and an ambulance at the camp, for evacuation to
Waw al Kabir runway and an aircraft on standby for medical evacuation to Tripoli. Camp will have a public address system installed There will be satellite internet and phone communication available
Power supply, water supply, toilets and showersPower supply, water supply, toilets and showers
Where possible, solar power will be used, but back up will be by 15Kw 230V generators
All tents and public areas will be supplied with power points where possible
Water supply will be by means of a well point, within the camp grounds. This water will not be used for drinking, but only for washing, cooking and cleaning. Drinking water will be bottled Libyan spring water
Showers will be in the form of shower blocks, which include wash hand basins. Showers will include hot and cold water.
Toilets – in the form of German portable toilets, with wash hand basin, and water flush. Toilets will be to international standards.
There will be designated Ladies and Gents toilets.
Breakfast Continental Breakfast from our European Style Breakfast Buffet (Breads, jams, honey, cold meats, cheeses, hot and cold drinks) Additional English Breakfast on order (eggs, hot cooked items)
Conference Snacks Hot and cold drinks, biscuits, salty snacks
Lunch Choice of salads from the buffet Soup Grilled chicken, turkey kebab, Couscous a la Tripoli, Arabic rice dish, stuffed green pepper, vegetables and rice Fruit
Dinner Choice of salads from the buffet (hot and cold) Soup Fish steaks and fish kebab, grilled beef steak, chicken scallop, vegetables, stuffed potatoes, rice Dessert from the buffet
Conference Facilities and Business CentreConference Facilities and Business Centre
•One conference tent, able to seat approx. 500 pax in cinema style (no tables)
•Conference tent can be divided into sections
•Laptop, video projector, screen and sound system is available
•Announcement boards at the entrance of the conference tent
•Conference tent is under the control of the Entertainment Director
Business Centre will have computers with internet access, laptop LAN connections, satellite telephone usage, photo copier and scanner. (Usage of the business center is at an additional cost to the user)
Camp will operate a wireless network, users can remain in their tents and log on to the network

Each evening, there will be a mix of local and international entertainment
On the 29th Evening there will be a firework and laser show hosted by the Military
Side Programs include: Motor cycle tours of the desert (additional cost) Quad bike tours of the desert (additional cost) Camel riding tour of the desert (additional cost) Hot air ballooning tour of the desert (additional cost) 4 x 4 tour of the desert (additional cost) Hiking trail tour of the desert with guide (additional cost)
