Taylor Swift is just like any other 21 year old, except that she is a famous singer-songwriter.

Swift had a normal childhood, but she started her career at a young age and has had a very unique recent life.

She has had very public relationships, and is open about her creative muse. Finally, her famous, relatable poetry has won many awards.

Swift had a very normal early life. Her family is very important to her. Swift also worked in theatre while she was younger. Taylor’s family moved to help her work on her music career during high school.

First, Swift is very family oriented. “Born on December 13, 1989 to Andrea Gardner a homemaker, and Scott Kingsley Swift a stockbroker. She was born and raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Last year, she used her theatre skills in the movie “Valentine’s Day.” She made a cameo playing a high school sweetheart to her then boyfriend Taylor Lautner.

Lastly, Taylor’s family moved to help her jump-start her career in high school. When she was fourteen her family decided to move to an outlying suburb outside of Nashville. They did that because, she could work on her music deals and developments more often. She went to Hendersonville High School, where she met her best friend Abigail. Taylor was home schooled her senior and junior year due to her growing fame. She got her high school diploma in 2008.

Taylor has had a very unique recent life. She is very down to earth. Even though she is very famous, she has kept her normalcy. Also, Swift is wise beyond her years. Another thing is she has many unique interests.

Even though she is very famous, Taylor has kept her normalcy. She keeps in touch with her best friend from high school. Swift and her band are always hanging out together. They play video games, eat, explore, and do other random stuff. She also loves hanging with her family.

Also, Swift is wise beyond her years. That led her to learn and play more on that instrument. Her first song she wrote was titled, “Lucky One.” After that, she started to write more songs regularly. Finally, Swift’s fame spread very fast. “Swift released her debut single “Tim McGraw”, in mid-2006 reaching #6 on the Billboard magazine’s Hot Country Songs chart. Taylor has had very public relationships and is very open about who she wrote her songs about. First, I will tell you about her relationships. Second, I will mention the people in her songs.

First, Taylor has had many public relationships. In 2008, Swift dated Joe Jonas. They were the teen power couple before he broke up with her. Many people have different opinions on this, but this is what I believe happened. He broke up with her on 27-second phone call. Joe then suspiciously quickly got together with actress Camilla Belle. Second, in late 2010 and early 2011 she briefly dated Jake Gyllenhaal. Also, Taylor was linked to John Mayer but was never confirmed. Another relationship is with Taylor Lautner. This became official while filming the movie “Valentine’s Day.” She referenced the rumors that she was dating him during her opening monologue while hosting ”Saturday Night Live” (to watch her monologue go to )

Second, Taylor has mentioned many people in her songs. If you are in one of her songs, you either did something right, awful, she is apologizing, or she is jealous. Here are some examples of songs, and whom they are about.

Taylor’s poetry is known for being from experiences many people have had, which has helped a lot in many ways. Swift has a very known song-style. Also, Taylor has won many awards. She has many musical influences. Finally, she has many goals for her songs.

First, Swift’s song style is well known for her. She bases her songs on personal experiences. Second, Taylor has won many awards for her songs. She won the ACM “Album of the Year” for her album Fearless in 2009. For the ACM’s she won “Artist of the Year” in 2009 too! Also, Taylor won a Grammy for White Horse. In 2010 for “Best Country Song.”

Thirdly, she has many musical influences. Her biggest musical influence is Shania Twain by far. Other influences include LeAnn Rimes, Tina Turner, Dolly Parton, and her grandma. Although, her grandma was a professional opera singer Taylor’s taste in music has always leaned more to country music. When she was younger she loved Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton. She credits the Dixie Chicks for the impact you can make by “stretching boundaries.”

My name is Tyla Kristine Slakey. I live in Santa Cruz, California. I live with my parents, sometimes my sisters, and my dog. I like to play many sports, I'm very clumsy, and I’m a very big fan of the San Francisco Giants my favorite player is Buster Posey .

First, I'm going to tell you about my family. My parents are very important to me. My dad is the CFO of a company that provides operators to pick up calls when someone orders stuff off an infomercial. My mom is a stay at home mom but her main job is taking care of us. She is a big sports fan her favorite teams are the Giants and the Sharks. My parents met at UC Berkeley during college. My oldest sister is Kaylin she works at a P.R. firm in San Francisco, but before that she was the manager of the newsroom at the capitol of California. She is 23 years old and went to the University of California Davis. My other older sister is Lyndsie.She attends the University of Washington and is studying to be a doctor. She is 20 years old. I also have a dog named Clementyne she is super cute and is a Terrier Mix. We adopted her at the Santa Cruz SPCA.

Second, I like to play many different sports. I like to play soccer with my friends because it is a good way to get exercise and have fun. I also play basketball, I am better at defense than offense but I am still good at scoring. Another sport I play is tennis. My best stroke is forehand or overhead. I also like softball, my best position is either shortstop or second base.

Third, I am very clumsy. I have broken both my arms an ankle and 1 toe. I broke my right arm by tripping over a soccer ball. It was a very bad break so I had to get surgery and get two metal pins put in my arm. I broke my ankle by wrestling my friend and then she landed on my ankle. I broke my other arm by catching a fly-ball in softball then fell on my arm (amazing catch though). I broke my toe by tripping on my stairs.

Finally, I'm going to tell you about my love for the Giants rookie Buster Posey. I have wrote a whole homepage on him. I also have gone to 7 games to see him play, once I even saw back-to-back games.
