In Japan it is called KIRI and the emblem of the Government and the Prime Minister. Paulownia is considered "aluminium wood" (with 33% by weight and 50% by weight of oak pine) is a tree with broad crown and thick stems with large leaves and flowers clustered in inflorescences large purple or white fragrant. Spectacular blooms in April and May, is drought resistant and has a long life up to 80 years. Following the specially created 45 parallel hybrids, Romania has recently attracted increased interest in the establishment of plantations and for decorative and ornamental use in gardens and parks. Forestry offers the ideal diversification from real estate and equity portfolios, providing a non-volatile market with high long-term returns on investment, and a low risk-to return ratio. WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN FORESTRY Environmentally conscious: sustainable forestry gives a unique opportunity to do something healthy for the planet whilst accruing a healthy capital gain. Long-term, stable investment: with long growth periods and minimal demand / supply fluctuations, forestry offers stable long term return projections. Low entry levels: Forestry investments require little capital (compared to real estate) and being in a stable un-leveraged market offer more dependable less volatile returns. Value rises with maturity: As trees grow, their marketable timber volume increases at an increasing rate, as does the woods’ value.

WHY YOU SHOULD INVEST IN FORESTRY
Environmentally conscious: sustainable forestry gives a unique opportunity to do something healthy for the planet whilst accruing a healthy capital gain.
Little affected by macroeconomics: No matter global currency fluctuations, inflation and interest rates, the long-term factor of forestry and its fundamental applications produce a more constant growth rate. Hedge against real estate & equity portfolios: For the reasons above, forestry’s stability makes it the perfect portfolio hedge against more volatile markets. Flexible exit return dates: with a range of harvest dates forestry investments have great exit strategy flexibility. If the price were to fall one year, wait another year or 2, whilst your asset continues to physically grow. Demand & supply: The supply of timber is diminishing, whilst the demand is projected to increase inline with the global population. The UN projects an increase in the global population of 55% by 2050 and Global consumption of hardwoods has multiplied nearly 25 times in the last 4 decades. Future carbon credit market: some reforestation projects may be applicable for future carbon accreditation depending on location and project management.
Hybrids of Paulownia SHAN TONG, 3rd and 4th generation produced by Research Institute in China and Elongate are promoted by PAULOWNIA INVEST because of the high resistance to environmental conditions, high growth rate (by 50-60% than traditional species) and high quality wood product.
Paulownia can adapt to any soil, with a very intense pace of growth in the first years of life grows 4-5 feet / year and the commercial value of wood is similar to the wood of walnut, but due to rapid growth, reaches maturity 6-7 years and can be realized more quickly. The wood dries very quickly (30-60 days), without sag and the oven drying takes only 30-60 hours. Paulownia leaves are large, 50-60 cm in diameter and are a green manure being used as animal feed.
It is a very good absorber of urban noise and very good support while dust and pollution. It regenerates rapidly from underground rhizomes and sets very well ground, therefore it is recommended planting in areas with landslides.
Its flowers are very popular with bees and can even produce more honey than with acacia. Some studies have also concluded that anti mosquito, mosquitoes removing an area equal to the diameter of its crown.
In recent years, we have established numerous Paulownia plantations in Romania, and interest in entrepreneurship is growing because the wood is of high quality and is very popular abroad, existing plantations already contracted for sale to adulthood.

- Founding a paulownia plantations at a cost 50% less than other types of plantations (10,000 euro / ha);
- the profit obtained after the first operating is significant - over 60,000 euro/ha;
- is an ornamental tree and honey;
- good for quick afforestation, windbreaks and soil erosion;
- has a good quality wood, hardwood, comparable to the nut, very popular in the world market of timber;

PAULOWNIA INVEST was founded to meet three major objectives:
1. To plant directly or indirectly at least 10,000 ha of land with Paulownia.
2. To give the opportunity to others to take advantage of the opportunity that represents the culture of this tree in order to ensure a stable income in the future.
3. To the major benefits brought by this tree in continuous environmental degradation. WOOD PROPERTIES
One of the most versatile existing woody species, Paulownia has gained tremendous
popularity in the West where cultivation is booming, especially for furniture, plywood and
biomass.
Paulownia is resistant to twisting (as increases), is resistant to shrinkage (not split) and
generally resistant to deformation. Wood has a nice, clean and smooth, without knots.
Its properties make fine-grained tree Paulownia wood exceptionally suited for bars, pallets,
household furniture and plywood, prefabricated, construction elements and internal panels.
Paulownia is also grown as a sustainable source of bio-fuel, a crucial step towards solving
the global energy crisis. The tree naturally regenerates from existing root systems, earning
the nickname merit phoenix tree. This means you can harvest between minimum 3 and
maximum 5 rotations growth wood without the need for replanting. Its leaves are a fast
growing and have a huge capacity to absorb carbon dioxide.
