Not much larger than a standard fill enclosure, the Pan-

ther is a complete Compressor-Refill Station in a one

piece design that can fit through a standard 36” door.

Its sleek design, clean lines and powder coat finish will

look great on your apparatus floor while taking up less

room than any comparable machine.

The Panther is a big system in a small package. We up-

sized the compressor head to deliver peak performance

while minimizing the wasted space and noise found in

other machines. Slow speed equals long life, less noise.

10 HP Panther All in One Design

10 HP Panther Cub

The Panther Cub is our modular design, compressed

breathing air system. The compressor, Purifier, Motor,

Electric Controls and Monitors are incorporated into

Module 1. Fill Enclosure, Storage Cylinders are sepa-

rate modules and can be purchased as options.

A modular design gives you installation options a one

piece machine does not offer. Plus, as quiet as the Pan-

ther Cub is, you may not want it on the apparatus floor.

The Panther Cub 10 HP Compressor can be ordered in

either 6000 or 7000 PSI. It is designed to fit though a

standard 36” door, so you can slip it in anywhere you

have adequate ventilation.

The Panther Cub is simple by design. Connect one hose

plus the power line and you are ready to refill SCBA and

SCUBA cylinders. It even comes with leveling and vibra-

tion feet for a clean and simple installation.

15 & 20 HP Panther Cub

Our 15 HP and 20 HP Panther Cub are one of the quietest and

vibration free compressors on the market today.

Fitted with an Ingersoll-Rand H15T6, all cast iron, slow speed

compressor block, this machine purrs like a kitten, but performs

like a lion. Hence, the Panther name.

This pump was first developed in 1930 and has changed very

little since. The secret to its success is the overhung crank shaft

design, splash lubrication, simple cartridge valves and low RPM.

This pump has the largest intercooler and aftercooler nest on the

market, assuring only the coolest and driest air enters the purifi-

er extending cartridge life.

This is our premier offering for departments that require large

volumes of air, in a quiet, simple to service, long lasting package.

Auto Storage Bypass Valve (ASBV) is Standard To keep things simple and efficient, Panther Compressors fill enclosures are fitted with our Auto Storage

Bypass Valve. The ASBV automatically sends purified air where it is needed most.

When filling SCBA, air is first drawn from storage. As storage pressure drops, the compressor starts, send-

ing purified air to refill the storage cylinders. When you continue to fill SCBA, storage cylinders will not

have enough pressure to bring your SCBA cylinders to full pressure. In that event, the ASBV routes air di-

rectly from the compressor/purifier to the SCBA cylinders being refilled until those SCBA are satisfied. Once

the SCBA cylinders are filled to their maximum pressure, the air from the compressor/purifier is automati-

cally routed to storage. This is the most efficient and economical way to refill SCBA while minimizing op-

erator interference and is standard on all Panther Compressors air control panels.

CAT II

The CAT II is an optical based system and an upgrade from our

original CAT RFID system.

• CAT Tags contain all the required data to safely fill SCBA cylin-

ders, including S/N, Hydro and Expiration Dates

• Cylinders past Hydro, or expired cannot be refilled

• Cylinders will only fill to their rated pressure, regardless of a

higher pressure regulator setting.

• Concise reports: Complete fill records, inventory, hydro due

dates and expiration dates meeting all agency requirements

• Safe, intuitive, simple, one touch operation

• The CAT II System is optional on all Panther Compressors

• Not ready for a new compressor? Install the CAT II on your

existing fill enclosure and compressor.
