Day 1: Tue – HONOLULU. Depart Honolulu via Hawaiian Airlines.• Tour #1 will depart via Hawaiian Airlines flt #827 at 12:10 pm.• Tour #2 will depart via Hawaiian Airlines flt #827 at 11:50 am.

Day 2: Wed – FUKUOKA. Arrive at Fukuoka International Airport at 5:55 pm. After entry formalities, transfer by coach to your hotel in Fukuoka. THE BLOSSOM PREMIER HAKATA (4 Nights)

Day 3: Thu – FUKUOKA. After breakfast, travel to Nakano farm to pick some fruits. Next transfer to the Okawachiyama area, a small, isolated village in the mountains just outside central Imari. Alongside Arita (in the neighboring valley), it was the first place in Japan to produce porcelain after kaolin – the mineral essential to making porcelain – had been found in the area and craftsmen with the necessary skills had been brought from Korea into the country. Today, Okawachiyama Village consists mostly of pottery workshops and their store fronts. Enjoy some time walking around and shopping for Imari Yaki (a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Arita ware). After lunch visit the Hizenhamashuku area, a group of historic buildings built at the mouth of Hamagawa River, and is believed to have been established as a town during the Muromachi Period. Enjoy a Sakagura tour and sake tasting before transferring to the hotel. (B, L)

Day 4: Fri – FUKUOKA. This morning visit Dazaifu, established in the late 7th century and served as the administrator center of the entire island of Kyushu for over 500 years. Nowadays, Dazaifu is a small, quiet city on the outskirts of the large city of Fukuoka. Where there a number of temples and shrines, the most famous of which is the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Then try your hand at Hakata Doll Painting, which makes a great souvenir and gift. Transfer back to the hotel. (B)

Day 5: Sat – FUKUOKA. A free day at leisure. Explore Fukuoka on your own. Your local guide will be available to assist as needed. Perfect day to relax and/or visit with family and friends in Fukuoka. Or perhaps do more shopping! (B)

Day 6: Sun – FUKUOKA – HONOLULU. Enjoy some leisure time in the morning. Then visit Forest City Kasuga for last minute shopping and free time on your own. Transfer to the Fukuoka airport. Depart Fukuoka via Hawaiian Airlines flt #828 at 7:55 pm and arrive Honolulu the same day. Aloha and Welcome Home! (B)

With excellent access to transportation, Hakata’s historic temples and shrines and commercial areas are within walking distance, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. For the men’s bath, a large bird’s-eye view of the city area of Fukuoka in the early Showa era was used, and for the Women’s bath, a large communal bath was designed using the hanging decoration “Sagemon,” which was displayed during the Hina Festival in Suigo-Yanagawa.
