Space saving transportTheIMSvehiclemountingsethasbeendesignedforthespacesavingtransportofawholecuttingrobotunit.Thesetis availableindifferentmodulessothatthecustomercanindividuallychooseaccordingtohisrequirements.Thebasic set 1 consists of a mounting for the cable drum and the remote control unit for water and air. The additional module electrical chain winch 2 extends thebasic setwith a chainwinchandanadjustable angular arm (operator safety winchoptional).Aswivellingwincharmallowsforveryeasy insertionandremovalof the robot intoandfromthe manhole.Theadditionaldrawer module 3 isabletocarrytherobotsystem,accessories,water-andnitrogenequipment properly.Simultaneouslytheconnectionsforwaterandairarepre-mounted.Aseparatecontrol desk 4 is available which can either be mounted at the rear of the mounting set or somewhere else in the vehicle. The control desk providesadditionalpoweraccessandinternalpowersockets.Waterandairswitchesarepre-mounted.
