Dry type transformers normaly operate indoors, however provided with a special design, ABB Zaragoza dry type transformers can also operate in outdoors installations.

Transformers for outdoors operation, may be equipped with some space heaters which will avoid condensation in the coils surface.
In order to avoid lightning damage, transformers can be equipped with surge arresters.
Marshalling box IP65 also available.
