A characteristic feature of the dispersion of air-steam mixture, deflagration and explosion are considered

depending on the location of the point of initiation. It is shown that when the accidental release of a cloud will have an

elongated oval shape. Wherein the position of the point of initiation can significantly affect the size of the affected area

from the explosion. It is concluded that the use of the energy approach in determining the explosion pressure in the

considered cases results in an error. The use of a technique of definition of parameters of a wave of compression, which

takes into account the speed of propagation of the explosion and nature of the underlying surface will allow to obtain

    more reliable results.

Keywords: emergency; safety; potentially dangerous objects; identification; deflagration explosion.

STEEL FRAMEWORK FIRE PROTECTION MEANS AND MEASURES

    FOR SKELETON-BASED BUILDINGS AND INSTALLATIONS

    of the Ministry of the Donetsk Peoples Republic for Civil Defense Affairs, Emergencies and Liquidation of Consequences of Natural Disasters;

Construction of buildings with metal structures framework assembly attracts the customer speed, economic

benefits, etc. The main disadvantage of metal structures a low fire resistance. Raise it possible lining fireproof boards, application of fire protective coatings (daubing, painting, spraying, etc.) and a combined way. Fire-farm in tumescent compositions hardly increases the weight of the structure. Should be encouraged in the design stage of the

use of parts of farms with reduced thickness of not less than 2,9 mm for the possibility of using these compositions.

Keywords: Metal frame structure of the building; the fire resistance of steel structures; the degree of fire

resistance of buildings; fire-works; structural engineering building frame; farm.

DEVELOPING A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF HEAT-AND-MASS EXCHANGE

PROCESSES IN COAL BED EGDE LOCFTIONS

The process of heat buildup in a porous body with regard to the binding edge portion of the coal seam. A

mathematical model headmassexchange processes at the edge of the coal seam with the initial and boundary

conditions. In formulating the problem into account: filtering and oxygen diffusion in the pores into the formation,

depending on the mode of ventilation generation, sorption and desorption of oxygen in the porous body as a gas

exchange between the pores and the surface of the coal particles, oxidation of coal on the surface of coal particles,

processes of heat buildup in the edge part of the coal formation.

Keywords: process heat buildup; and desorption a sorption of oxygen; a mathematical model of the processes

of oxidation of coal; the edge of the coal seam.

The heat radiant fluxes from a flame front of the fire exerting influence on the rescuer depending on the cross

sectional area of the flame front, maximum temperature of a seat of fire and distance to the flame front are determined.

The intensity of the heat radiant fluxes by the fires with the application of fundamental laws of thermodynamics and

heat conductivity is investigated, the nomogram to determine the intensity of the heat radiant flux influencing on the

heat protective suit of the rescuer depending on the distance to the flame front, maximum temperature of the seat of fire

and cross sectional area of the flame front is worked out. The curves to determine the permissible distance to the flame

front affecting the heat protective suit and fluxes penetrating through it in dependence on the maximum temperature of

the seat of fire and flame front area are adduced. The results of the investigations adduced will be used after their check

on compliance with the data of experimental investigations to study the heat and mass exchange processes by working-

out the heat protective suit with the forced cooling with running water.

Keywords: seat of fire; maximum temperature; intensity of the heat radiant flux; area of burning; permissible

    distance.

This paper is concerned with a new foreign-language teaching/learning methodological approach, the

educational programme described has been based on. The programme is not aimed at learning the language as a

subject but at acquiring skills of using it as a tool to handle foreign-language based information. The learning

approach is based on involvement of learners two psychological states: deliberate need to work and natural demand to rest afterwards. Psychological, methodological and teaching/learning features of the programme are described as the

base for building learners communicative and learning independence upon the language teacher on completion of the foreign-language course. The programme described is defined as an equally effective foreign-language acquisition

resource for professionals in various areas of activity.

Keywords: handling of information; teaching/learning methodology; skill; independence; autonomy; foreign-

    language ability.
