Derive the diffusivity equation for radial flow of a fluid mentioning the assumptions made during the development of the equation. 10 2. With a neat diagram and relevant flow equations explain the transient, semi-steady state and strady state flow regions in a drawdown test analysis. 3 3. A well is producing only oil at a constant rate of 3OSTB/D. Data describing the well and formation are: Pi = 4,OOOpsia,ll= 0.62cp, k = O.lmd, h = 160ft., Ct = l.5xlQ-5 psit, q>= 0.23, rw = 0.5ft, re =3,500 ft. B o =1.475 RB/STB, and s = O.Calculate the reservoir pressure at radii of 1, 15, and 125ft after 3 hours cl~oc~. 9 4. Derive equations for wellbore storage coefficient for wells with a moving liquid/ gas interface and wells with a single-phase liquid or gas. State the assumptions on which the final results are based. Reduce the final equation to dimensionless form. 5 5. A 1000 deep pumping well has 2 inch 00 tubing inside a 7-5/8 inch ID casing. Without a packer, the liquid level will be pumped down over the annular space. If the oil in the well has a density of 581bm/ ft 3 , calculate the storage coefficient. 3 ***********
