Healthy Work Life (HWL) Partnering You in Wellness

Modern day work and living is highly demanding. As we struggle to keep

up and stay healthy, it is important to recognize that health is no longer just the absence

of disease. Instead, as proposed by the World Health Organization (WHO), it is a state of

complete physical, mental, and social well-being.

Living healthily is an individual’s responsibility – it requires one to take positive steps, and affirmative action in the

direction of positive change. This way, optimum health both at work and in one’s personal life may be achieved.

Employees must be equipped to make smart health choices, so that they can be at their best at home and at work.

Maintaining physical fitness, emotional wellness and spiritual wellbeing, while at the same time being aware of the

need for preventative measures are all essential in engendering the healthiest lifestyle possible.

HDAP aims to partner organizations in developing and

sustaining holistic health in work and life through

prevention and education. We believe HWL will offer

organizations and its employees an overall

improvement in health status, wellness and lifestyles.

Ultimately this will lead to positive changes in:

• individuals’ working styles & the dynamics of teams

• employee morale and productivity

• absenteeism and lateness

• staff retention and recruitment

• working conditions

• employee commitment to achieve business goals

• willingness to be flexible in times of business need or

change

• amongst others…

To help organizations create an environment

conducive for healthy living, Human Dynamic offers a

one-stop solution to partner you in wellness! HWL

will:

• Enable employees to increase control over their

physical, emotional and social health

• Enrich employees’ work-life health

• Empower employees in making positive change

• Educate employees in health-related and wellness

issues

• Enhance service provision by bringing about

accessibility & integration

With a professional team comprising wellness coaches, fitness coaches, nutritionists/dieticians, physiotherapists, medical professionals, health support consultants, counselors, and psychologists, HDAP is well-positioned to offer one-to-one coaching support, self and group education, as well as self-help and referral services in the area of healthy work life.

Human Dynamic Asia Pacific Ltd has teamed up with

two other specialist service providers to launch the

region’s first comprehensive Crisis Management

Consulting (CMC) service. The launch of CMC means

that companies across Asia Pacific will now have

access to a ‘one-stop shop’ for all aspects of

contingency and emergency response planning.

CMC is an exclusive partnership between regional

communications agency ICON, the world’s leading

disaster management company Kenyon International

Emergency Services, and Human Dynamic Asia Pacific

(HDAP), which amongst its suite of people management

solutions, provides specialized psychological support to

those caught up in catastrophic events.

This new service is being launched in response to the

growing need for companies across the region to

demonstrate their ability to withstand a range of crisis

situations, from a potential Bird Flu pandemic to

company-specific events such as accidents or terrorist

attacks. Research shows that companies which respond

poorly to major crises lose an average of 15% of their

market value in the following months, while those seen

to respond effectively gain an average of 5% over the

same timeframe.

How an organization performs in times of adversity will

have profound and lasting consequences in the eyes of

its stakeholders; CMC aims to help companies in

building ability and capacity in responding effectively

to crises, particularly in such times where we can never

be too prepared.

The CMC portfolio leverages the complimentary

strengths of the three partners to offer a unique,

integrated approach which addresses the operational

challenges; the need to protect brand and reputation;

and the requirement to provide emotional support for

victims, their families and other affected employees.
