Ladies Fashion Show/Luncheon March 19th
On a rainy Tuesday, 40 Corinthian women joined together for the Ladies Fashion Show at Gallupi’s to celebrate Spring and

Commodore’s Report: by Leslie Baron
As I write this message to you, we are preparing for another great event in a couple of days, our ladies luncheon and fashion show and as with all of the other Corinthian events we have had since I became Commodore, we are expecting a large attendance and a great day of fun and friendship. The event will be hosted by Kathy Hall. Our Activities Chairperson, Roni Harkey, continues to plan amazing events to entertain boaters and non
boaters alike. Thanks to her for arranging a terrific night at the hibachi restaurant. Almost 50 Corinthians attended and were all entertained by the chefs and great food. Dinner Under the Stars had close to 50 attendees and 6 boats rafted off to each other. Food and fun galore!! Past Commodore Cal Parent organized the evening and he did a terrific job. 28 Corinthians are headed to the Caribbean for the Commodore’s Cruise at the end of March.
We are currently working on approving a proposed change to our bylaws. As our club has changed since leaving the yacht club and creating a new name for ourselves, so have our bylaws and procedures. Thanks to Rick Garland, Jack Holman and Al Tupek for all of the time and effort they have put into this project.
April continues to keep the Corinthians busy. Our boating weekend in Stuart April 26-29, headed up by Mike and Connie Miller, will be great. If you haven’t yet made your boat’s docking arrangements or hotel reservations, please do so now. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Connie at 954-732-7607. Lastly, if you are interested in helping out with an event, please contact Roni Harkey at 305-613-1685. The more volunteers she gets, the more events she can plan! Wishing all of you a Happy Passover and Easter.
Camaraderie continues to rock with our Club! A huge thank you to all members who chaired AND participated in hibachi night, the Boca Lake Dinner Under the Stars and the extremely successful Fashion Show. The Corinthians continue to grow and have some amazing future events to look forward to. Please continue to reach our to your friends and neighbors about our club to keep it growing strong! Come and join us for a fun weekend.
At Sunset Bay Marina & Anchorage—615 SW Anchorage Way, Stuart, FL 34994 Connie and Mike Miller will be our hosts and they are sure to plan a good time for boaters and non-boaters.
The Hampton Inn is nearby and the rates are $126 to $160 nightly. There are also lots of B and B's in the area if you are interested in that kind of lodging. The Sailors Return Restaurant is on site at the marina and they have happy hour from 3:30 to 7 pm daily. The restaurant also has live music for dancing nightly.
Downtown is a short walk away and it is loaded with restaurants of all kinds and boutiques and gift shops. Reservations for the marina can be made through their website - sunsetbaymarinaandanchorage.com. Click on reservation link and be sure to go to bottom of the form and write that your boat is part of the Lighthouse Point Corinthians and you are coming with How Lucky Again.

Hibachi Night—March 7th
Hibachi Night was a HUGE success ! Attendance was amazing as we had about 46 participants - we enjoyed Happy Hour drinks in the bar and patio area before we moved to the 5 grills that were reserved just for us. The Hibachi Chefs put on a great show slicing and dicing and even squirting sake in the mouths of those not afraid to partake ! The food was over the top delicious and a fabulous time was had by all. The consensus is : Let’s do that again !!

LAKE BOCA...6 BOATS...49 "CORINTHIANS"...A MILLION STARS… 1 ANCHOR...the perfect setting for "DINING UNDER THE STARS....orchestrated by our own Kathy Hall and Roni Harkey. A special "THANK YOU" to all the boaters...this could not have happened without you !.....All reports are that we arrived back home safely.....and to our Commodore Leslie, add another one to your continuing list of achievements !!
