Neonatal and Pediatric Critical Care transport between referring facilities to Mayo as well as three legged transports. High level of cardiopulmonary monitoring available includes EtCO2 and pulse oximetry, arterial line monitoring, inotropic drip infusion. High level of pulmonary support including CPAP, BiPAP, mechanical ventilation, nitric oxide and ECMO support. Our specialty teams members involve pediatric and neonatal critical care nurses with at least 3 years of experience in the care of critically ill children and dedicated pediatric critical care trained respiratory therapists. All transports are supported by 24/7 pediatric and neonatal medical control and a physician is available for transport if required.
