Oil circuit is necessary for the moving parts in high speed running compressor. It brings the lubricating oil to the contacting surfaces of moving parts in compressor to form a oil film which functions lubr ication, cooling, seal and noise reduction. For the refrigeration system, the oil may be the power carrier for loading and unloading in Screw compressor, thus it has great impact on operating efficiency and life of the compressor. Compressor oil level changing is a comprehensive process. The oil mixed with high temperature refrigerant gas will be discharged into the system. If the oil discharged is not too much, it will not do any harm to the performance of the system, while it Too much oil is discharged in the system, the efficiency of heat transferring will be reduced, and the flow control elements performance may be impacted as well.

Appropriate Oil System can guarantee good lubrication and efficient refrigeration of compressor, especially in the system of compressor rack; refrigerating capacity needs to be exactly matched with required load. Precaution has to be taken to maintain the oil level in crankcase of each compressor. Whether all compressors running at the same time or not, there is a pressure difference among each crankcase, which cannot be compensated by pressure-equalizing pipe, results in a change of oil level. Too high or too low of oil level will damages compressor, even in a very short time. The surface of bearings may be worn, and compressor blocked.We recommend you to employ Oil Control Management System which can supply compressor with oil as requires, and ensure a normal no worry operation.

高效油分离器 High Efficient Type Oil Separator

0.5-1.3 m/s 99%

5-50 x0-6kg/kg 0.01MPA.

Oil and gas separation generally takes the ways of inertia, centrifugal, collision, packing and absorption filter and so on. First stage is by collision that makes the oil particle attached to the wall of the vessel. Second stage is by inertial separation, that the Oil gas mixture velocity is quickly reduced direction changed, and this way the large oil droplet will be separated. The third stage using metal mesh and packing, that will collect oil mist, make it attached. Oil cylinder diameter is the most critical factor, for this, the maximum gas speed we chosen is 0.5-1.3 m/s, the separation efficiency is over 99%, effect is (5-50)X10-6kg/kg, pressure drop <0.01MPA.

Oil Separator Model Selection

When compressor runs, too much oil goes into the system will impact flow control elements, and impact the heat transfer efficiency of the evaporator and condenser as well.

To ensure a normal operation of the compressor, a good design and installation of the refrigeration system is necessary, as any oil separator cannot provide 100% oil separation.

15% surplus capacity is recommend in model selection. This manual has given a formula of oil separation and the capacity, while the capacity in real operation is always changing; the highest evaporation temperature has to be considered.

Sufficient overheat is needed. The oil separator will fail in wet compression.

In an cold ambient, the oil separator has to be heat insulated, or the liquid refrigerant will go back to compressor and liquid stroke may occur.

A sight glass on the oil return line is recommended to check the status of the oil return of the oil separator.

With Oil separator, the refrigerant oil from the compressor discharge will be effectively separated, thus the efficiency of the refrigeration unit is improved and the oil circulating in the system will be reduced, otherwise it will change the refrigerant flow, reduce the cooling efficiency especially in the partial load operation, thermal resistance of the oil will impact the heat transfer efficiency.

Oil Reservoir2Oil reservoir is used to store the lubricating oil, besides which in the compressor crankcase, oil separator, and that recycling in the system.

In the oil reservoir, the entire refrigerant dissolved in the oil will be evaporated, and thus the oil will be cooled.

360º ODF

There has an ODF stop valve that can be turned in 360º direction at both of the inlet and outlet of the oil reservoir for repairing.

BOR 6L-14L 19L—23L

In BOR system, there are two oil sight glasses on the 6L-14L, and three oil sight glasses on the 19L-23L products. In the oil sight glass,

there is a red floating ball to watch oil inside.

OCV 3/8”SAE

On top of oil reservoir, there is a 3/8”SAE connector to install oil check valve OCV.

High pressure liquid receiver is located between the condenser and expansion valve of evaporator in the unit. Selection of the volume of the product: 80% of the volume of it can hold all the refrigerant in the system, and the surplus volume of the liquid receivers will be 15%-30% of the total volume. For the air cooled condenser and evaporative condensers, liquid receiver must be installed. For large heat pump units, the difference of volume required for running in the summer and the winter has to be considered. Considering this difference of refrigerant requirement and give some surplus.

Gas and Liquid Separator without heat exchange is set between the shell-tube evaporator and the inlet of compressor that separates the

gas and liquid mixture refrigerant to prevent the liquid stroke.

Gas and Liquid Separator with heat exchanging can cool the high pressure liquid refrigerant with the separated liquid evaporation. Vertical

structure is usually used.

In heat pump unit, gas and liquid separator should be equipped with fusible plug to prevent the compressor from over high suction

temperature and burned.

BDX series low temperature circulation vessel is the main components for horizontal type Freon pump vessel which is the main liquid

supplying components for huge Freon refrigeration equipment system. The function of that is to receive and supply the low pressure and

low temperature liquid for Freon pump circulation and to separate gas and liquid, ensure a safety running of the compressor. And it

functions as a liquid discharge vessel as well.

工作原理:

Opera tiona rinc iple

The refrigerant enters low pressure circulation vessel from liquid receiver, and more low temperature liquid is supplied to evaporator with

canned pump. After taking the heat in the evaporator, the liquid and gas returns to the vessel, the gas will be taken to compressor while

the liquid will stay in vessel for next circulation.

BHX

BHX series siphon vessels is used to the screwed compressed refrigeration system which is cooled by refrigerant cooling and lubricating

oil and evaporative condenser, especially good for the regions short of water resources and poor water quality.

As the screw compressor has more advantages over position type, its market share is increasing. Previous oil screw refrigeration

compressor system mostly uses water to cool, it is easy to waste water resources, and the oil cooler is easy to scale. Refrigeration system

with siphon vessel saves more energy compared with air cooling or oil cooled refrigeration system.

The high temperature and high pressure gas refrigerant which is discharged from compressor will be condensed by condenser to be liquid

refrigerant. At first the liquid refrigerant will enter into the siphon vessel, when the level of siphon vessel is over the overflow port, the gas

refrigerant will enter into receiver and supply the liquid to evaporator. And the liquid under the overflow port will enter into oil cooler by the

discharge port of siphon vessel, the liquid refrigerant will take in the heat of the oil, and some of liquid will be evaporated, then the gas and

liquid refrigerant will return to condenser by the siphon vessel together with the discharge gas from compressor, then the gas refrigerant

will be condensed again. In order to ensure the realization of gravity circulation, liquid pipe leading to the oil cooler must reach a sufficient

height

Water is the main heat transfer media, in China, the users has to observe the GB50050-1995 Industrial Circulating Cooling Water Treatment

Design standard to treat the water. And the cleaning and filtering of the water for the first time operation by by pass has to be carried out

水 Water Treatment

Water treatment is to be carried out accorded with local water quality and air quality, especially for the sand wind region and poor air clean

places, there it is likely to make the heat exchangers silted with mud and sands debris, and the heat transferring performance will be weakened.

The water cooling tower has to be set at a place with clean air, and far away from pollution and the air in and out the tower has to be filtered,

and the water is filtered as well.

Precautions for Water Freezing Broken

At the water side end cover, there are valves for water drainage and air release. Water Freezing Broken Precautions has to be made. In winter,

in case the units will not be in operation, all the water in the system has to be drained, if the they will be used in the winter, contact our company

for instructions.

Safety units or safety valve mouth has to be set according to the high pressure vessel safety design standard. For the capacity below 150KW,

the vessels are set with easy melting plug. The melting temperature has 2 types for low and high temperatures. The high temperature type is

used for water source heat pump heat exchangers.
