When you have finished one slide, just go on to the next one
Sometimes, it asks you to do a particular worksheet.
That worksheet is in the shs folder

Make sure your name is on all your work before you print it and hand it in.

1. Write up your Questionnaire Results in a report in Word called ‘Questionnaire Analysis’:
2. Explain why you did a questionnaire, what you were trying to find out and how many people you asked.
3. Analyse each question one at a time and say what this means about your original plans e.g.
4. I asked twenty people if they wanted music on the website but eighteen said ‘no’ and only two said ‘yes’, so I have decided not to put any music on the site.
5. I asked twenty people about pictures. Three quarters of them said they liked lots of pictures so I will change my sketches to put on more pictures

1. Go back to your original pencil sketches and make any changes in a different colour as a results of your questionnaire feedback
e.g. cross out the section on luxury holidays and write in red ‘people only wanted cheap holidays – luxury holidays not suitable’
2. Only make those changes that are a result of your questionnaire
3. Do a note on the sketch to explain that the different colour part is after questionnaire feedback
e.g. pencil = original plan;
red pen = changes after questionnaire feedback

Now in Word start a document called ‘Website Summary’ -draw up a list of features that you intend to include and not include on your website – you need at least 6 of each and must explain why:

1. Bright colours because my questionnaire feedback said this is what people want.
1. Music – 90% of people questioned said they did not want music.
2. Comments from previous customers as people said this was helpful.
2. Video clips – many people still do not have broadband – will make site too slow.

Before you make your website, you need to design a logo for the company.
It will probably include the company name or initials e.g. HSBC or JJB It might include a picture or symbol as well e.g. For a holiday company you might use a globe or a planeIt could be sensible or light-hearted
Start by making three completely different logos in Word for YOUR holiday company
Look at the worksheet ‘Logos in Word’ for some help.
Call it ‘Logos in Word’; put your name on and save it but don’t print it yet

Make the first page of your travel agent website in Publisher
Make sure there are some MISTAKES in it1.e.g. a couple of spelling mistakes; 2.pictures that are poor quality; 3.make the font change in different passages of writing; 4.have slightly different colours e.g. one passage of writing is medium blue and one passage is dark blue
Put at least 6 or 8 small mistakes in it
Print it off in black and whiteWrite your name and ‘First draft’ across the topWith a pen, circle all the mistakes

Make all the pages of your travel agent website in Publisher
Make sure you put something on the master page (View Master slide).Anything on the master slide will appear on every slide e.g. Company name or logo
Make sure you put your company logo on that you designed
Don’t put any deliberate mistakes in it at now and make sure you have taken out the mistakes from the first draft Print it off in black and whiteWrite your name and ‘Second draft’ across the topWith a pen, go over and either circle any errors or improvements that you can find or tick the page to show it is correct.

Make the final version of the website
Go through and make any final corrections/ finish off any sections
Do NOT print from Publisher but run the webpage and take screenshots
Paste the screen shots into Word
Make sure the screen shots show all the website, one section after another so you can see everything in Word
Print off the screen shots and write ‘Final Version’ across the top with your name and tick the pages to show they are correct.
Hand in

Call up the final version of your website
Go to file and save as then give it a name with your name included e.g. Josh Warren WebsiteAnd from the save as type box choose webpage (NOT single web page)Make sure you are still saving into my documents
This will be sent to the examiner so make sure you put your name on the name

You have decided to advertise your travel agent’s shop through a website.You could have advertised in other ways – local paper, TV etc.You have to look at the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of advertising.
