On my phone, the microusb connector slides out easily, if pulling thephone straight out of the dock, so there's a little extra space so that thephone can be tipped out of the dock instead of sliding up

(Possibly) clean up the cable hole a little with files to allow the cable endto slide in. Feed wire into channel.

To keep it from moving around, you could add rubber feed or bumpers, ora add another channel for a strand of ninjaflex, or just some museumpaste.
