Countdown Timer

Alive Againwritten by Matt Maher

I woke up in darkness

sounded by silence

oh where, where have I gone?

I woke to reality

losing its grip on me

oh where, where have I gone?

Cause I can see the light

before I see the sunrise

You called and you shouted

broke through my deafness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

You shattered my darkness

washed away my blindness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

Late have I loved You

You waited for me, I

searched for You

What took me so long?

I was looking outside

As if Love would ever

want to hide

I'm finding I was wrong

'Cause I can feel the wind

Before it hits my skin

You called and you shouted

broke through my deafness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

You shattered my darkness

washed away my blindness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

I’m alive again!

'Cause I want You,

Yes I want You

I need You, and I'll do

whatever I have to

Just to get through

'Cause I love You,

Yeah I love You

You called and you shouted

broke through my deafness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

You shattered my darkness

washed away my blindness

now I’m breathing inand breathing out

I’m alive again!

Confession of Faith

A 21st Century Creed

In an age of anxiety, we believe that peace comes from Jesus Christ, the Son

of God.

In an age of confusion, we believe that the Bible is

the Word of God, inerrant and infallible.

In an age of doubt, we believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the

virgin Mary.

In an age of guilt, we believe that Jesus died on the cross to remove the power of sin and Satan

from our lives.

In an age of reason, we believe that God is at

work in the sacraments of Baptism and Communion.

In an age of constant change, we believe in the

unchanging Trinity – Father, Son, and Holy

Spirit.

Offering

Each of you should give what you have decided in your

heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for

God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7

Friendship Register

O Praise HimWritten by David Crowder

Turn your ear To Heaven and hear The noise inside …The sound of angels awe The sound of angels' songs And all this for a King We could join and sing 'All to Christ our King!'

How constant How divine This song of ours will riseOh, how constant How divine This love of ours will rise Will rise...

CHORUS: Ohh praise Him! Ohh praise Him! He is Holy! He is Holy!

Turn your gaze To Heaven and raise A joyous noise

Oh the sound of salvation come The sound of rescued ones

And all this for a king Angels join to sing 'All for Christ our King!'

CHORUS: Ohh praise Him! Ohh praise Him! He is Holy! He is Holy!

Matthew 25:31-46 p. 690

Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them. He also gives me clothing and

shoes, food and drink, house and home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this body and life

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Romans 8:32

Matthew 25:34-37p. 690

Love has a face!

Prayer

Confession of Sins

L: God is light; in him there is no

darkness at all.

C: If we walk in the light as God himself is in the light, we have fellowship with

one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son,

cleanses us from all sin.

L: With steadfast love and wondrous

grace, the Lord desires to make us

clean.

(Silence for self-examination)

L: Almighty God,

C: You dwell in light

unapproachable. Unprotected, we

perish in your presence. For our hearts are

darkened,

our minds clouded; we call

for night to cover our

actions; we have often loved

darkness rather than the light.

L: Jesus Christ is the light of the

world, the light no darkness can

overcome.

C: Therefore, we look only to

Jesus for the forgiveness we so desperately

need.

L: As a Christ follower, God

hears your prayer. “I choose

to make you clean. Your sins

are forgiven,” the Savior says.

C: We have seen Jesus’

glory and his victory in the empty tomb.

Our sin debt has been paid in

full. We are free to rejoice and

serve!

Prayer of The Church

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our

sins as we forgive those who

sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver

us from evil, for the kingdom, the power and the

glory are yours now and forever. Amen.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,

The love of God,

And the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you

always!

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;Let every heart prepare

Him room,

And Heaven and nature sing,And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven, and Heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!

Let all their songs employ; While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,

Nor thorns infest the groundHe comes to makeHis blessings flow

Far as the curse is found,Far as the curse is found,Far as, far as, the curse is

found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations proveThe glories of

His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,And wonders of His love,And wonders, wonders,

of His

love.
