World Vision McGill was founded in 2009. We work with World Vision Campus to advocate the mission and general idea of World Vision, arouse student awareness and fund-raise within and outside of campus McGill.

The finance portfolio is responsible for maintaining club

funds. We organize bi-weekly samosa sales as well as campus-

wide events (including a Trivia Night that is coming up VERY

soon)! Join our committee if you are a fun and creative individual looking for experience in sales

and event planning.

INTERNALWorld Vision for McGill Students: A group of like-minded individuals brought together through our mutual compassion and need to help those who are less fortunate.

The Internal Committee: By creating bonding events we deepen our understanding for what we can do for the community and how World Vision McGill can help. 2 Vice Presidents (Jay and Zinia) and 2 Coordinators

(Francisco and Susan).

Events will be smaller in scale and will focus on raising a sense of community within the club.

Having a member of the Harlem Globetrotters come in and talk about the effect that World Vision has on the world.

BOCA CHICA

The International Volunteering Committee fundraises throughout the year to prepare for its annual trip to a community that is in need of external assistance. A team of individuals reaches out each year to implement

sustainable actions that will better the lives of the community residents. We are looking for one Committee Member to assist in directing fundraising

activities for the year so as to sponsor our attendees of the mission. If desired, the Committee Member is invited to attend the trip as well.
