Working Titles parent company is Universal Studios (Pictures). This is the company they will look
to when they want to produce a larger budgeted
film, because they will have
the money to produce this
film and have expertise in
marketing and other departments which would
be vital for the film production – if they want to
make any success.

My Beautiful Laundrette was the
first film that Working Title Films
produced. The budget for this
film was $650,000 and the box
office takings were $2,451,545.
This shows a huge success for
their first film. It was also produced by Channel
4 films and distributed by Orion
Classics. This film was released in two
different languages- English and
Urdu, it was probably released
in Urdu because one of the main
characters is British Pakistani.
