• Training tends to reflect “ look for when 2 ropes will work”

• Most climbers tend to „supplement‟ their singleline working NOT true backup/safety

• MEWP‟s not utilised with poor justification

Work Positioning & Rope Access

•Tree Climbing Level or Below main anchor

•Use of Load Bearing Supplementary anchors toprevent fall or swing

•Maximum slack in system 500mm (250mm in eachside of system)

•Harness must have leg loops & may require „seat‟

•Affords Full or Partial Support

•In rope access the line does not usually move withthe climber
