Aim & PurposeCreate an educational integrity framework

To provide guidance on ethical issues

Available to lecturers and academic staff

Issues we come acrossunauthorised collaboration, fabrication of research results, student work placement issues, plagiarism, group work, student destruction of resources.

Overriding principles

Honesty - personal honesty in learning, teaching and researching

Trust - mutual trust to encourage the free exchange of ideas

Fairness - fairness in institutional standards, practices and procedures , fairness in interactions with each other

Respect - respect among students, staff and faculty

Responsibility - shared responsibility for promoting educational integrity

Scenario 1 - fabricationYou realise that a student has fabricated the

test results in a research project.
