What is Termimesh?

Termimesh is a non-chemical, marine grade, stainless steel

termite barrier. It eliminates the hidden avenues termites use to

attack buildings.

History of Termimesh

• 1989 concept by Vic Toutountzis

• 1990 Termimesh Australia Pty Ltd formed

• 1992 First system installations in Perth, Australia

• 2000 Termimesh, LLC was formed in the U.S.

• 2006 Termistops receive EPA Registration and are introduced in the U.S.

Termistop Termistop is the “prefab” version of Termimesh. Termistop comes ready-to-use in all standard pipe sizes and bathtrap blockers to provide the benefits of green sustainability for residential and light commercial projects. Termistops “key” into the concrete when the slab is poured, eliminating termite entry into hidden areas.

As the basic, entry level to The Termimesh System, Termistop accreditation can be achieved online at our website, www.Termistopusa.com. Termistop can be purchased from Nisus Corp. or Termimesh, LLC..

The Termimesh System The Termimesh System forms a complete physical barrier to termites. It is installed to not only pipe penetrations & cut-outs, but all other areas where termites attempt to gain hidden entry into buildings. These areas are typically cold joints, construction joints, and around electrical clusters that pass through the slab. Most of these openings are visually and physically inaccessible once construction is completed. The System is comprised of:• Marine grade stainless steel mesh• Termi-Parge• Termi-Bond• Stainless steel clamps & screws

Termimesh System TrainingTermimesh installers must be accredited and trained by a Termimesh Trainer. There are 7 levels of accreditation available in the Termimesh System. Once trained, an installer is able to customize the Termimesh System to the unique features of each building project. System training includes:• Construction knowledge

• “triple folding” technique• Manifolded pipes• Construction joints and cold joints• Perimeter applications

Termimesh and Concrete

Termimesh Flanges (Termistop) are designed to eliminate the gaps in the slab created during the “thermal process” of the concrete curing. Once the edges of the Flange (TStop) is keyed into the concrete, that gap is no longer a viable entry point for termites. Thereby transforming a structurally engineered slab into a continuous barrier.

Termimesh and Concrete

The Termimesh System has over 100 design specifications to address and eliminate all gaps for termite entry into a building. The System addresses perimeter installations, construction joints as well as the service penetrations to creating a complete physical barrier to termite entry.
