Knoxville Rotary Centennial SculptureKnoxville Rotary Centennial Sculpture

Presented to the City of Knoxville by the six Rotary Clubs of Knoxville on RI’s 100th anniversary in 2005.

The sculpture honors Oak Ridge Rotarian Bill Sergeant, Chair of the RI Polio Eradication Campaign, and commemorates Rotary’s lead in the worldwide eradication of polio.

The sculptor, Lajos Biro, is a member of the Rotary Club of Mateszalka, Hungary, a twin club of RCK.
