• You are only as good as your leader.(Mrs. Rosenblum has high expectations.)

• Students are expected to turn in work on time.(Late work will not be accepted after five school days and there will be a

percentage loss of points for each day late.)

Grades• Grades will be calculated based on assessments,

classwork, and homework.• Assessments comprise 80% of a student’s grade and

classwork and homework 20%.• Some examples of assessments are quizzes, tests,

projects, labs, lab reports, and reading response assignments.

• Classwork and homework grades will be a combination of in class and assigned homework.

• There is no extra credit.• Students and parents can access the online gradebook

year-round using the “Parent-Vue” and “Student-Vue” login pages, accessible from the Kyrene website.

Tardy Policy

• Students are expected to be in their seat working when the bell rings. Students will receive one warning for their first tardy. If students receive any additional tardy marks, they will be assigned a lunch detention.

Make-up Work

• It is the responsibility of the student to retrieve missing work when returning from an absence.

• Students have the same number of days that they were absent to make up any work.

• If students are absent the day before a test or quiz, they will be expected to take the test or quiz the day they return. If a student is absent the day of an assessment, they are expected to take it the day they return.

• Late work will be accepted within one week of the original due date for partial credit. Work turned in after one week will not be accepted
