What will my student be learning?

How will my student be graded?

Each unit grade (category) will consist of three to six small assessments (quizzes and/or labs), and one unit test.

The small assessments will total 70 points in each unit, and each unit test will be 100 points.

Our comprehensive final exam will make up 15% of the student’s final average.

How will my student be graded?

Scientific calculator (not graphing calculator) Organizational system of choice Access to computer to view website if absent or

struggling Media center Classroom Public library

What supplies does my student need?

Check the unit calendar to see what notes, labs, or assessments were missed.

Check the blog to get notes, copies of labs, and view special assignments.

Go to the course website to read the topics that were discussed during the absence.

Come to a science department make-up session if a test or quiz was missed. (Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings)
