FAILURES IN COMMUNICATION

I heard on the grapevine that the boss will be fired!

To pass the latest information,to gossip

Let’s get straight to the point…we have to redesign the production line!

To tell the most important

To put you in a nutshell, the contract has to be remade.

To tell the issue quickly

Let me put you in the picture, our sales have dropped

dramatically!

To tell the latest news.

I think I got the wrong end of the stick, you said 1000 units

or 10, thousand

Misunderstood the information

People, we have to be on the same wavelength

to understand the procedures!

To share the same or similar opinions

I can’t make head or tail of this diagram!

Confused

Please, you’re talking at cross purposes here!

The information is being misunderstood.

He’s beating about the bushes again to say something so simple!

To delay at telling things

I’m sorry I think we got our wires crossed,

do you want to talk to the supervisor or the manager?

To confuse the information
